Some people will say send one by normal post, some will say 1 by registered post, some will say 2 by normal post.
1 by registered post is often enough in most circumstances as a signature will - on balance of probabilities - prove they received it (the civil procedure rules dictate particulars of claim - ie LBA - must be sent so this helps prove you've complied with pre-action protocol). Some people say to send 2 by normal post - even from different post offices as - on the balance of probabilities - whats the chances of both not being delivered?
I usually recommend registered post just out of habit and someone usually tacks on they'd send 2 by normal post so I decided to skip that step this time.
Both would be to the company who sold you it - as before, its them who you have statutory and contractual rights with.
Great I have 2 copies ready to post tomorrow. Fingers crossed now. Thank u :beer:0 -
Returned scooter and then mum discussed with the company the problems with the scooter. Reached a solution and she recieved a refund so am looking to buy a new scooter now. Just need to make sure its suitable for my son. Thank you for the advice. Hopefully now he can have a scooter in time for summer holidays.0

Glad to hear you got the refund, though it's poor that it took you so long. I linked this one on the first page and it really is very good

It's not the cheapest but it is extremely robust and spare parts are available, though we haven't needed any.0 -
Good to see someone taking note of advice given.
Well done op.0 -
Thanks for the update. I hope you find the right scooter, but moreso, hope it's from the right company.0

There is a nice little shop in my town that sells the kiddimoto scooters. I have tried to read around about them. They come with 2 year warranty so maybe a good option. I like the idea of being able to buy it from a person and then I haven't got this problem or who to contact if something goes wrong. Supporting a local business too.

Going to give scooters some research over the weekend. I like 2 wheel scooters but not sure my son is ready for one yet so that's why I am still considering the 3 wheel options.0
