    I also have a 50% offer for 12 months on the Sky service app, however I just contacted Sky and they said it's no longer available. Best they would offer was 35% for 9 months.

    If your post was replying to mine I'm afraid the "offers" in my account just say.

    That happened to me, two years ago, so I called when I needed to reconsider my phone/bb two weeks later and got a good deal.

    This year, I got an immediate 50% offer , soon followed by an emailed 50% plus £50 offer, so offers appear to be random.

    That's interesting. I cancelled about two weeks ago and within hours the 50% off for 12 months was showing on the service app landing page and still is. However I have checked account via the box and it only offers 35% for 9 months too.

    So far only 35% discount offered for me :sad: - another 2 weeks until cancellation.

    Well a few days later and 50% off for 12 months with a £50 credit to account

    Cancel and go with Freesat. Best choice we made last year! :D
    You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I was sad Sky increased their pricing, so I've just ordered BT TV and will cancel sky once LiveChat isn't too busy!
    Price hike made my Sky TV bill £60p, but BT TV Total Entertainment and second room is £21pm (but there is a one-off charge for hard-wired installation of the second box.

    This is at the expense of Sky Atlantic and Fox, but I can get them on Now TV through my PS4 - or get used to not having them! Of course, there are all the free TV channels, too :-)

    Blimey. That was easy! Sky told me what my last bill would be and when, then said goodbye.

    Email arrived before the phone call ended to say 'Sorry you're leaving', but that's it!

    Goodbye Sky and hello BT!
  • I definitely recommend downloading the service app as I had a 35% offer on the website but 50% offer on the service app. I am 2 weeks off my cut off date and have been holding out for at least 50%. In the past I have let the sky cut off, then logged into the website to find a 50% deal straight away.
    May be I should have held out for more, I am happy with 50% for a no contract 12 month deal.
