    Thanks Ena!

We saw a mortgage adviser through bf's work as a perk (we won't pay them any fees if we use them) so we know ish where we stand, but just want to tie down exactly what we can afford as bf has had quite a substantial pay rise since we last saw her (lucky thing :)) Once we see her I will update how we get on :)

While I'm here I want to set some goals for this month....
    • Pay £500 off CC (doable now holiday is over) (and do not spend on CC!) EDIT:This goal should be clear my CC as the £500 from June's payday went int (think I confused myself!)
    • Have 15 NSD's
    • Upload at least 5 items to eb@y, even if they don't sell this month
    • Stay out of OD at the end of the month!

I think that's a respectable list...I realise I always try to overshoot and then fail, so this seems conservative. Although the NSD's may be a struggle as we are looking after bf's sister's cat again, so we will be living in her house for a week. When I have to cook every night the temptation is there to spend on convenience :o but it's all good training for when we finally move out!

    Payday wooo...

Moved all my money across, no money into savings this month but I've paid £500 off the CC, and have earmarked £25 for the minimum payment which will be taken later in the month. Confident I can get it paid off with July's pay, and will be able to put the leftover into savings.

I've left myself with £490 for general spends this month...this seems like LOADS of money to me as normally I only leave myself £300, but then I always end up in my OD, and I've also got a lot on this month...

I'm seeing Green Day tomorrow at Hyde Park which was my Xmas present from bf (was obsessed with them as a teenager and never got to see them live), so that will be a trip into London and will spend on food and booze. Also got an afternoon tea at the end of July with my mum and bf's mum and sister. This will be interesting as I don't like tea or cake :rotfl: but I'm sure there will be something for me! Nothing too much in between but we will probably end up going out for meals as the month after a holiday always seems so dry and depressing otherwise! Will try to be good.

Sadly excited to go to Ald! tonight, as I never really get to choose all my meals and food....I'm sure once I move out it will become tiresome (as it did when I was at uni) but for now I will take the excitement ;)

Well Green Day was EPIC. Had such a good time. Although between me and my bf we spent a small fortune, so need to reign it in now! Just consoling myself with the fact that it's not something we do often (ever) and it was so good I can't feel annoyed about it. I'm not sure the exact cost yet as I'm waiting for it to appear on my online banking.

Still feeling the sinus/chest infection thing I've got going on, it is gradually getting better but it's lingering. Need to get back to eating well and doing yoga etc this week.

Going to aim for as many NSD this week as possible, already bagged one yesterday as I was too fragile to leave the house!

The money's gone off my CC, and something I bought and put on there can go back so the balance should be <£400 by the end of the month as my minimum payment will still go out. That means I can easily clear it with this month's pay packet :D

Bf is going to organise a meeting with the mortgage adviser, will update when I know when that will be :D

All my spends from Saturday have appeared on my bank statement, total was £72.07 for the day. While that is a lot of money it's much better than I expected! Had to go to the coop yesterday for chicken and roasted veg (made rump steak from ald! for bf and I, very nice and the cat also enjoyed his portion :rotfl:). Today should be NSD2. BF has sent an email asking for an appointment with the mortgage adviser when I'm off work beginning of August :D

Well yesterday wasn't a nsd as I bought a green day cd set for £27 off my best fiend/enemy @mazon. Anyway today was nsd2. I went to my little brothers school play as he was the main character - different as it was a murder mystery and was also interactive as you had to guess who done it! Good to see him doing something he likes.

Come back to the house I'm house sitting and had leftover spag Bol. Now for red wine and love island ;) I'm sure most people on this forum hate it but I find it so entertaining, at least I don't have to think! :rotfl:

Nothing much to report, got 6 NSD's under my belt so far this month (hoping for no.7 today), been able to exercise again and things generally ticking along. Bf's sister & partner have been accepted for their mortgage in principle, so has put a rocket up my behind to make sure I'm putting everything I can into my savings over the next couple of months!! Been able to pay a bit more off the CC so balance should be under £400 but the end of the month. Still need to upload some items to eb@y, but I'm staying at bf's house over the next 11 days or so, so don't want to have a sale and then not be able to package it up straight away. Will make sure to put them on (or perhaps schedule them ) for when I'm back home full-time.
