Hi Ena, yeah that's a good idea. I've never ringfenced money for me to splurge, but I think that would be a good alternative to the feast and famine thing I've got going on! I will have a think about that0

Well my perfume turned up after I had emailed the eb@y seller to ask where it was....typical! I love it though, it's over £70 cheaper than the original (initials JM for that brand!) and it smells almost exactly the same to me. Win win!
Yesterday (Thursday) was not a NSD as it was the day I go round my bf's, and I bring dinner. I had to buy lunch in the coop for £3.50 as I've been super disorganised this week. Need to recitfy that for next week. (Also don't have lunch for today....oops) I also spent £28-something (will need to check my receipt) and got stuff for dinner, some wine (essential), drain unblocker, and other bits and pieces. Oh and also an Easter egg for bf so I can forget about it!
I had to pick up a prescription last night, but they only had 3/4 boxes so I need to go back...she said Saturday, but that area is SO horrendously busy on a SaturdayI may have to get up super early and go when it's less busy. I've got another facial tomorrow, which means I can't go out at the weekend as I'm not allowed to wear makeup after I've had it done. My mum's away so I need to stay at home anyway to look after our menagerie! I can try for a spend free weekend (try being the operative word
)

Oops gone quiet again!
Saturday wasn't a NSD as I had to go to the SM to pick up the last of my prescription . I bought a machine coffee (naughty but nice!) a loaf of bread for the madre and some dried cat food. I then had my facial, was worried about traffic and parking but I think the glorious weather had made everyone stay at home as I had no trouble parking and got there and back with no problems, which was brilliant!Very happy with the progress of my skin, think it's a combination of the treatment and the pill, either way I'm happy with how it's going. The owner of the salon has taken a pic of my skin to use as a before and after on the website! Then it was pizza at the bf's which he paid for
Sunday wasn't a NSD as I bought a bottle of nail envy for £2.99 off eb@y. Yes this is a buy which kind of breaks my no-buy, but my other one is dry as a bone and when I do use normal nail polish it's an essential, so I bought the cheapest option I could find. Then went to the bf's house and had a nice evening sitting in the sun
Yesterday was NSD 6 and today will be NSD7. I need to clean my car as the birds have been doing their business on it for over 2 weeks and it's getting a bit disgusting now! Ashamed to be seen in that car at the moment :rotfl: I will do it myself though and save the fiver of getting it done by someone else this time.
Swags had their swaggo board on again today, so I did that and boosted my points up to a £5 am@zon voucher, which I've put the claim in for. I want to build up a fund for the mountains of kindle books I'll need to get me through my summer holiday, I always read about 8/9!
All in all everything is fine. Not able to exercise much as my ankle is killing me for some reason, so I'm taking it easy. I'm still off chocolate for lent - almost caved in last night but managed to stay strong. Very much looking forward to the Easter break, will be spending some much needed time with the bf, who's having a v stressful time at work at the moment so he needs the tlc! Also loving the sun, I hope it stays :cool:0 -
I also meant to mention, the first week of this month I spent £37.33. This isn't realistic for every week this month as I will need to buy petrol in the next few days, but if I can keep the spends as low as this throughout the month I'll be happy!0

Ummmmmm so I've been AWOL! Went completely off my no-buy
bought a few things on eb@y for holiday (sadly only a couple of have worked out) and just generally gone a bit crazy. I had a great Easter weekend, but got horrifically drunk and had a huge hangover on Monday which has turned into a water infection, so I've had to take today off work to go to the docs. Which means less in April's paypacket
I'm not doing great for money due to my blow-out spending, although it was only week2 of the month that I went crazy - week 1 and week 3 (this week) I've only spent around £35.
I was meant to be out in London with friends tomorrow but my bladder the way it is I'm not sure I can goreally sad about it but it would do my bank balance some good if I don't go, I have around £60 to last until payday on the 29th.
I felt the need to check back in as I'd stayed away due to feeling guilty. But I need to keep myself accountable and I'm sure no one is judging me as much as I'm judging myself!
I did manage to get a SB am@zon voucher for £5 and cashed out on PA for £6.14 which I moved over to my deposit fund. Even with all the overspending this month and my slightly shorter paypacket I will be able to hit £10k at the end of the monthwhich is one positive I am grabbing with both hands as I've had so few this month lol!
I've not been exercising due to feeling under the weather and just generally feeling out of sorts. Looking forward to getting a few good sleeps in and getting better so I can smash some workouts again.0 -
Completely forgot to add last night I have 11 NSD's so far this month, and hoping today can be number 12. Not all bad!0

Well it's Monday again!
Feel better than I did when I last posted - not 100% but the tablets have kicked in and I'm sure I'll be fine by the end of the course on Thursday.
Had 2 more NSD's over the weekend, even though I was soooo tempted to go to Mcd on Sunday lol. So that's NSD12 and NSD13 under my belt.
The bf told me last night he wants to go for New York for his 30th. His birthday is in December, but I think it's cheaper to go January or Febuary, so that's just over 1 and a half years to save for that lol. Will need to create a new savings account and see how much I can put away each month! Not much I'm sure as I'm still tight for money each month..... will do some research on costs (because he surely won't!) and see realistically how much we'll need.
Hoping for NSD's for most of this week. Have food for work for today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Will need to get some Thursday, and the bf and I are going to use our Zizzi voucher on Thursday and as I'm not drinking it shouldn't be too bad. Then it's payday FridayWill be shorter due to the day off, but I will see how much I get and work around it.

Quick update -
I'm up to 15 NSD's, 16 if I manage today as well. I might have to buy dinner for myself though, so not sure if I'll get today or not!
I thought my bladder was getting better but had an awful evening last night with frequency. Ended up having a mini-breakdown and had to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep. It's a case of not knowing if it's still the infection and the tablets aren't working, or if my OAB is just really acting up because my bladder's inflamed. I've decided to finish the course of antibiotics (on Thursday) and then give myself some time to heal. If it gets no better I will have to take another unpaid day and go to the docs again. If there was a time limit on it (ie I will feel better in 2 weeks) it would be bearable, but not knowing is so frustrating. Feel like an old woman needing the toilet every 5 minutes! Not ideal when you're only 26.
I got a 6p refund from my bank today  only labeled as "fee refund", not sure what it's for. Oh well, even it's only 6p I'll take it!0 -
Hmm well bladder still not great, after a fight with the docs I managed to get an appointment today, and I've got a round of a different antibiotic. Just hope it sets me right! Frustrated I can't really exercise with this as it exacerbates the problem, just have to grin and bear it I suppose, try and enjoy the rest!
I've been paid today, only £40-something short down due to my sick day so not too bad. I tried to move my money around as usual, but although it's showing as coming out of my account, it's not appearing in the savings accounts :S I think there's something going on as it takes me a long time to log in, and the transactions are showing as purple, so maybe I'll need to wait a day or so for them to go through properly. Frustrating as I want to update my deposit fund but I don't want to move anything else around until I know it's all going to go where it should!0 -
Just a post to say.....
I've hit 10k!!!!!!:j:j:j
That is all;)
