I opened one at cox's and kings on pall mall, although I got a letter a few months ago saying they were closing it and moving my account to the Piccadilly branch. Cox's and Kings still appears as a separate branch on the branch finder, just at the Piccadilly address. Never had any special correspondence.

Liking the sound of Mayfair though.
RBS (if you can get a RBS account anymore online as a result of the preparation for the W&G split) have separate stationery for Child and Co.
For Child you must now attend branch, unless they have added it back on the online system.0 -
How about Lloyds in Halifax. It's opposite (almost) Halifax in Halifax.
Which is over the road from the head office of Halifax, part of the Lloyds Banking Group.
(We don't have a Bank of Scotland yet, but we have a Royal Bank of Scotland. It's near NatWest.)0 -
I've never read anything so pretentious in all my life0

i've been at Birmingham Law Courts today, Djene. is there a Lloyds Branch within the Law Courts?
and TSB at Bradford? am i missing something?
I believe Lloyds Law Court branch is actually on The Strand in London, opposite the Royal Courts of Justice and near RBS' Child & Co and Barclays' Gosling branches.
The address is reported as Birmingham in the same way as other London branches have Chelmsford, as these are centralised LLoyds Group CS centres.0 -
god, I've seen it all now...
People moan about the colour of cheques and debit card, Now people moan that there branch names and address.0 -
It's a shame they don't have a branch in !!!!!!0

Wait you can select a branch with Lloyds? I thought you couldn't but then again I've had my accounts since I was a young lad, I wonder if I open a new account whether I could select or it would be linked to my local?0

If the moaning was referred to me, well I was just pointing out something I discovered by searching about the Law Court branch and coming up with this thread.
I passed by last Friday and noticed this grandiose building, half of which is now a Pret A Manger branch and the other half still a Lloyds branch.0
