Exactly as above. Learn to live with it. If Halifax does replacement cards overseas, great. If it doesn't, well its not the end of the world. Just need to be prepared situations like this. It is still a great travel credit card, with the cash withdrawal functionality.

I agree some people think they have a absolute right to a credit card and forget it's not actually their money they are spending! It's not a service, but a borrowing facilty and if you are fortunate to have been offered the facility be grateful!0
