    Hi,

    I notice in the T&Cs
Don’t forget, we’ll give you £5 every month if you pay in at least £750, pay out at least two different Direct Debits and remain in credit.

I have two DD for credit cards, If I have no spend one month on one of the cards, there would be no pay out and I would not get £5 bonus. Is that correct?
To be sure of collecting the £5 every month, I could arrange two Tesco monthly DD.

... I think the call centre closes at 8pm, and not sure it will start the switch if initiated via online, (lots have gone missing and had to be finished in branch this way) branch switches in working hours will qualify although you may find it hard to get an appointment.
I have just arranged switch on line at 23.30 tonight, so I am sure a switch would work after call centre closed @ 20.00 tomorrow.

You just need to do a switch with active credits and debits. Their latest incentive offer doesn't seem to specify any minimum of direct debits and they pay very quickly. If you also want the £5 monthly credit then you need two direct debits and pay in £750 minimum per month.

As you say you just need to switch the entire account including all direct debits. But there is no requirement to have any direct debits set up on the account you are switching unlike some other banks - Clydesdale and M&S for example - require for their incentives.

Just to show that I can actually do something for myself......when prompted :rotfl:
    For anyone interested:
To get the boosted £125 bonus (£100 after), you need to apply to switch by 11.59pm on 22 March.

So you can switch after tomorrow night....but will 'only' get £100

You need to have applied to switch to get the £125 by midnight - the actual switch doesn't have to have taken place by then of course as the earliest that could occur is probably 1 April.

I know that's what you meant but I am just clarifying that.

I would make sure that the two DD actually pay out. That's what the T&Cs say. I use two that always pay out.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake, I missed a few words out I meant 'havent had the incentive before or since January,
Where are you getting the 'before' from? The published Ts & Cs that I quoted at post #5 only specify 'since' - if they meant 'before or since' then they could just say 'ever' and the January 2012 date would be completely meaningless!

    Just an update from me

I went in to do the switch, it took just a couple of mintues,.
The lady was great and she said we will have a look at your accounts while we are here

We had Granny bonds from last year so we needed those sorted into a a better interest rate account.

She then said 'what do you want to do with all thse old Isas which I have also thought all to be empty, but she said that one had some cash in it.....It was a bit of a surprise when she said there was £750. plus £49 pound interest Very nice too and a total surprise.....
Thank you to the OP who started this thread xxx
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
