    Morning all
Hope everyone is as well as can be
Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons where needed

Cleared some junk out of the piano stool in our room, while I was having my early morning tea and toast. Few bits for CS some boiled and some rehomed.
I must iron today ds2 has just yelled he has no school trousers, the early morning call was for boxers but they were located on the non iron pile he hadn't bothered taking up yesterday.
New fence looks fab, and Dh has brought the planters off the front round the back before he went to work so I'm hoping to strip them out ready to put tomatoes and straws in this year. Archway needs putting back up now the fence is replaced and little gap where the side and back fence join needs filling but Dh retrieved some wood to do that before the scrap got taken away.
Better get on with the ironing, I'll pop back later once I'm done - expect me about Wednesday

    Morning all

Thank you Natters and Piggers for thread creation.

The house of dust is the house of the ill today; one cat hobbling with a sore front paw, DS3 in bed with temp and sore throat (hoping we don't hit the usual hallucinations), DS2 in bed with a stoach ache and I need to go into the paid stuff. Drugs have been administered to mog and DS3.

House is looking quite good. Going to dust downstairs and S&S bathrooms.

    Have a good day all.

    Thanks Natty!

I'm going to try and be in this week but I'll probably be working off list a bit as I'm in the mood to declutter and I have work stuff I need to get done. Plan is that anything off the list thats not done by Friday I'm getting DD to help me with so I can have this weekend off. No idea yet as to whats happening over the Easter weekend so I'd like to spend it watching films with DD if I can. We still have stuff from 27th December to watch!

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes as wanted/needed to all.

Dusty - I've heard good and bad things about Ziffit, but there's also We buy any books. You take a risk sending any book/CD/DVD off to somewhere like that. I have a stack I want to clear myself, but I'm seriously considering just donating them except for a couple I know are worth money (Selling for £20+ on bay of e)

Didn't get to fly properly yesterday although DD did a lot of jobs for me. I went into the kitchen to put the shopping away and got annoyed when DD's lunch box fell off the top of the cupboards and just missed hitting me on the head (it was the way she'd put it away, there was room up there!). So I spent a couple of hours decluttering the kitchen and now virtually nothing is on top of the cupboards for the first time since we moved in :D DD cleared the ironing pile, dusted her bedroom, changed the beds and henried right through downstairs while I was at the shop. She also took the wheelie bins round to the front of the house as I'd filled them both again! Hoping to fill the bin one up again before next week, but I have 2 weeks until the recycling one will get emptied so I need to be more thoughtful there.

I have work stuff I need to do today but I've decided to switch up my routine. Normally I work in the morning and will fly in the afternoon, but I'm not getting around to the flying so I'm going to fly in the morning when I'm more in the mood then work in the afternoons. If I finish my lunch break at 12.30 then I can still get 4 hours or so of work done daily. The only days I won't do that is the ones where I have a set work thing to do (collecting books, dealing with a delivery etc). Hopefully this way I can keep on top of the housework and still get all my work done.

    This week:
    Collect books from school
Sort store card for DD to give to her friend to give to her mum (should have been done nearly 2 weeks ago :o)
    Order in Tuesday
Buy Easter treats for kids (5 needed)
Prep as much as possible before next weeks delivery
    Finish reading my book
and probably more things that I can't remember lol

Right, I best get on with jobs rather than sitting here reading things and drinking coffee as I've only done dailies upstairs so far! Off to the kitchen!

Anyone else grappling with hay fever? I've had a tablet and eye drops and am still itchy.
Uni this afternoon so tried to catch up a bit:
    - finished and emailed a report
    - booked a contact lens check, cursing myself for leaving it till I get hay fever. Every year I tell myself I'll book as soon as the reminder comes through, then.....leave it
    - had as much of a blitz on kitchen as I could manage in the time available. The evil women with swabs and bacteria detectors would still exclaim in horror, but hard luck.
    - cleared all surfaces except 1; too much stuff too little time
    - wiped all surfaces and some appliances, even the odd door
    -DW on. Other stuff wudupa
    -floor swept
    -floor mopped
    - a pile of post sorted and dealt with

That's about it for today. Realise I need to send Easter cards out (urgent), must attack another report (more urgent), write a letter(1 to go in Easter card), do a couple of birthday cards(by the end of the week).

Still nursing an arm after a rather over-enthusiastic jumping jack "air punch" a few weeks ago - yes at my age. Have missed the last couple of weeks of Body Pump on a Mon eve but really don't want to miss another although I have to say the time would come in handy.

    Hope your sickies improve Dusty

Morning everyone.. I'm semi surfaced after laid up for what seems like forever with this horrendous flu/infection thingy. Not even sure if I am quite with it today but, fingers crossed I have managed to keep my bland breakfast of a croissant down..so that is an achievement so far. I have a confession that I have done absolutely no housework/washing/ironing the past 3 weeks. Thankfully Dave has stepped up to the plate and has managed to o what he can.. Although the first week he was ill too..but he shook his off way quicker than me. I knew I shouldn't have declined the flu jab last year.. :( Thankfully I managed to stay away from hospital, although it was a close thing at one point.

I haven't been to my therapy community since the first couple of days in March..and I hate myself for having to take the time off. I'm actually going to have to take this week off too, and won't be able to go back till after Easter now which I'm not too happy about. But as my health is priority I have to consider what is best for me.

On top of all that, the day before I fell ill my little daewoo car went bang on me while I was driving home on one of our main roads .. Scary I can tell you as I had to try and pull over onto a grass verge, call the RAC and then watch all the traffic speeding past and hope they didn't hit my little car. Sadly she was unrepairable and has gone to car heaven...after 14 years of fantastic use :D Good news is that my darling Dave took me out that weekend and he bought me a gorgeous Suzuki Swift that is 8 years old. Sadly it meant he had to give up buying his new car this summer as he had to use that money..Although saying that his little car is doing okay and really only sits in the garage, and comes out now and again. Although since buying the new car I haven't managed to drive her as I have been ill ever since..infact Dave has driven her more than me...lol The most I drove her was to the Dr's to get some antibiotics..lol

So there you have my past few weeks in a nutshell - exciting eh? Not got that much done really, and I just look at the house with my head in my hands in despair, so wishing I could do stuff..

One good thing though, my little puppy Banji, has been my constant companion at all times during this enforced illness. He has curled up and gone to sleep with me nearly all day..bless him.

Well that;s enough of me, welcome to any newbies that joined while I wasn't around :D And get well soon vibes to all the poorlies...and the housework can be left while you are ill. It is not essential to be done and you don't want to make yourself worse. And that is coming from someone that has had to give up housework due to illness at the moment..

And thank you so much to Piggers for stepping in and doing my list week for me, otherwise you could have all ended up doing some really weird and wonderful stuff...lol
