Good morning PLMBL and Beanie. It's lovely to be back and to have nice messages to wake up to.
Got good news today, the balance transfer and money transfer are going through so I can move money across to the car loan and CC tomorrow. Also M&£ has accepted me as a banking customer and are sending me the pack next week. Phew!!!!
School starts tomorrow and it's an INSET day so I'm looking at the house and thinking aaarrrrgggghhhhhh! Having a teenager does have one small downside in that she's not tidy.... at all.... whatsoever. Mind you I did the bathroom very well the other day and my bedroom is now spick and span. The lounge just needs a hoover and repatriation of some of DD's clobber to her bedroom. After that it's just a quick sweep of the kitchen and battle with clean clothes so I've got enough for the week. Bye Bye comfy jeans and hello viscose dresses!
Have a lovely Sunday everyone and to any other teachers going back, enjoy!!!!With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Evening everyone, I realised I completely forgot to tell you all something! I have a tent! Partly bought by family for my 50th and the rest by me and DD it is a polycotton outwell inflatable and we are very excited about next years holidays!!!! Ultimately I want to get a comfortable motorhome so I can go travelling around like Squirrel and Robin but in the meantime this will be super! As I said to my dad (who was incredulous at me camping) 'you have to cut your coat according to your cloth and if you end up with a jerkin!!!'. My whole family thinks I dropped in on them from some strange planet but I don't mind. This way DD, Pirin and I can travel without getting into debt and my dreams can be fulfilled now rather in a more MSE style.
Our first outing in it will be in May 2017 when we will go to the Loire in the half term for a week. Until then I'm overpaying everything I can and keeping my hand firmly on the MSE tiller. Lid£s today was a walloping £49 but that includes some top ups of store cupboard ingredients and we have been living off rations for the last week.
Have also branched out tonight and am joining the book of the face. I have the tightest privacy settings in the universe so no pupils can hack in, although they'd be disappointed as it's just so I can join some motorhoming and camping groups. Sighs and sees prospect of future husband slip away into the distance!!
Take care everyone and see you tomorrow! With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

My DD3 was a slob in her teenage years. She grew up to be an incredibly clean and tidy housekeeper. She works looong hours and says it helps so much to not have a mess at home. So there is lots of hope for your DD if my little piggy can turn out ok. :beer:Overprepare, then go with the flow.
