This is spooky! We were watching the ITV lunchtime news and I had to turn the volume down every time there was an ad break, aaarrrggghhh! Never seen so many adverts for something so annoying in such a short period of time before in my life!!!
Well done to the OP for starting the thread!0 -
Trying having Freeview it's permanently on some of the channels over there! My neice who can hardly speak now makes the noise of the frog - now that is funny!2p off is still 2p off!0

HTH.
Did this last week for the kfc advert which I detest - not only the bad manners aspect but also the assault on my eardrums by their hideous singing voices.
Next up this bloody frog. Every single ad break, often twice. Not only that but I get mown down by my two year old in her rush to watch it. Not sure she is the age group they really intend to target.
It's on as I type :rolleyes:0 -
I think it would be a good idea to phone the TV channels concerned and play the theme tune down the line..better still ring them at night and hopefully they will have an answer machine on. Viewers revenge!!!0

wow, when i first started this post i did not realise that everyone was going to detest it as much as me. i think im going to count how many times i see the frog in an hour.
i dont think complaining to the ASA will make them stop though will it? surely if jamster are willing to pay for the airtime they can put it on as many times as they want to? or will complaining actually do something? i hate the ad breaks so much now i dread them0 -

There have been similar threads to this over on the Digital Spy web-site. The vast majority of people on those have voiced the same sentiments as on here. Surely the people at Jamstar must realize that these adverts are a turn-off for most people?
They are supposed to be aimed at youngsters but someone at DS has pointed out that they even run them during "Heartbeat" , a programme watched mainly by people much older than the target audience of these commercials. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
