Is it weird wanting to not be single?

Not really. But I suppose I should have written 'need or strongly compelled to be with someone rather than alone'...and actually a lot of people don't desire to be in a relationship and that view is growing, maybe with the likes of meetup and social media and less stigma doing stuff on yer Tod.0

Why would be be unusual? Most people want to be in a happy relationship. Nothing wrong with that at all. The problem is when people tolerate an unhappy relationship because they're cared of

Most people want to be in a relationship of some sort - and there's nothing wrong with those who don't.
It becomes a problem for those who feel they have to be in a relationship - no matter how one-sided or toxic or controlling or abusive - rather than be alone. I don't know if it's self-esteem or peer pressure or both but there are some people who it seems cannot bear being single (or possibly thought to be unable to find a partner) and will put up with a lot of !!!! just to be (say they are) in a relationship.I need to think of something new here...0
