    Hi all,

Just a quick update in that I have received another set of DRP letters (don't worry not about to post them). Company didn't respond about help or cancelling charges as the landlord recently complained to the company that many others were doing the same thing as me.

These DRP letters are titled 'Notice of intended court action' and detail that they're going to recommend the creditor to commence court proceedings (though I assume you know all this).

I'm currently receiving these letters through another family member where the car used to be registered so am in turn receiving most of these letters past their deadline date. Cars registration address was changed long ago, just after the PCN's were sent. Car is now no longer mine and has not been for months. Just wondered if any of these facts changed anything.

    Regards

The advice to ignore debt collectors has not changed. No offence meant, but we don't need to know that you are still ignoring them. The only thing people here need to know is if you get real court papers.

You should email DRPlus to tell them your new address for service of letters about this. Better that than missing letters or seeing them late.

HTH - but all the time it's DRP or Zenith letters, it's going nowhere.

Okay, I know these sound like silly questions but I really don't want to get this wrong.

Is there a specific format I should email DRP with as obviously I don't want to disclose any of the wrong information? Sorry forgot to mention, should I email them with my current email address (the one I actually use), or my old one (the one I applied to the appeal with)?

Should I also contact G24 to inform them of the wrong address? Obviously if I do get a LBC or MCOL I don't want to waste the 14 day period having it posted to me.

If I am sent an LBC or MCOL, when should I expect it? The last DRP letters stated a date of payment of 20/05/16.

Finally if I have a sensitive question I've read I should not post it on here, is this correct? If so, who would be best to contact and how?

Doesn't matter, as long as you identify yourself and both addresses and put the DRP ref in the subject line as well as the PCN number (they are different). There is no set format, just a couple of lines showing the old address and the new address and telling them not to write to the old address again.

Yes, annoyingly you may have to post that, I don't know if anyone here has a G24 email. But I would tell them your new address and quote the PCN number and VRN (but not the DRPLUS ref, it means nowt to G24).

    Never!!!!

Read how often they've tried court. Enjoy your life and stop worrying but keep each letter just in case G24 break the habit of a lifetime within the six years a 'debt' can be pursued in small claims.

Okay, thanks Coupon, as I could not find an email address for G24, I stated that DRP should inform their creditor, G24, of the change in address, due to the lack of contact information. I included the DRP No's., PCN No's. and VRN in said email.

Let's hope it stays that way!

Just a quick query. If there may be the potential that the retailer could cancel these charges, is that worth pursuing, and is it still possible for a retailer to do so even though the charges are 8 months old?

    Always. For 2 reasons:

    1. It's the only way to get rid of the thing now
    2. Complaints to the landowner is the only way to get them kicked out to avoid hassles in future.

I'd always advocate complaining to everyone possible about this sort of stuff.
