What a load of crap, Sturgeon will go down as the leader who caused the breakup, she is the only one demanding it.
They tried and failed in 2014 (who's fault would that have been) and are trying it again and probably again until she achieves her aim. That is there only ultimate goal.

This time the SNP are just using leaving the EU as an excuse, in 2014 if the SNP had won then Scotland would have been taken out of the EU anyway.

Unless I've missed something I think Ms Sturgeon would quite like to be remembered as the politician who caused the break up of the UK. But the Union will collapse under the watch of the British Prime MInister who presides over it.

David Cameron is not remembered fondly thanks to Brexit, but there will be no mercy at all for Theresay May, or whoever else, if the country splits down the middle under her oversight.

    It won't.

The independence support lies, habitually, they over exaggerate, misinterpret, mislead and compose myth.

If the Scots fall for that then perhaps it's better that the union breaks up. They'll continue voting in SNP candidates and the schools will just get worse and worse, it's hard to see a dramatic sea change on the horizon in the quality of the logic, reason and critical thinking in the north at the moment.

AFAIK Scottish schools used to be tip top, now they're worse than the enemy's.

I was reading an artice morning and what struck me was this

My bold. The web address has been shortened and MSE doesn't seem to like the word (it is one word) 'tiny url'

Before a vote has even been cast or has the Scottish Parliament had a vote and I've somehow missed it? Did they have a majority?

And what happened to the will of the Scottish people? Or has the Scottish government given up on the idea of representing the Scottish people in favour of representing their own will.

    Just asking.

She's banking on the Green party backing in Holyrood.

I'd laugh so hard if they turned.

Scottish education was indeed tip top, one my regrets on leaving Scotland was that our children would have to go to English schools. Our children are adults now with children of their own but as school age chidren my preference was a Scottish education.

I'm also hoping it's Yes party central again a lot this time as I intend on doing the partying this time around and not the campaigning ... I'm hoping the parties will be even better

Speechless. You do realise that all this stress is probably shortening people's lives and ruining any chance of Scotland attracting businesses - so making people poor? But go on party on down....

I haven't noticed anyone saying yet what currency they would have though. If you want to be truly independent then you would have to get a lot of infrastructure in place, not least of all a mint to mint your own money, but if you do intend to join the EU you would only have that currency for a couple of years until you would be forced to join the Euro. That is assuming that the EU and the Euro are still around, Greece is almost certainly going to default in the summer and that will do a lot of damage.

    They still haven't decided !!!!!!.
Scotland could abandon currency union with UK, says Alex Salmond
Scottish Nationalists are prepared to change their blueprint for independence and abandon previous proposals for a currency union with the rest of the UK, the former first minister Alex Salmond has said.
    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Mr Salmond ruled out joining the euro, but suggested that Scotland could introduce a new currency, either freely floated or pegged to the pound, and perhaps use sterling without any say in monetary policy while the new currency is introduced.
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

With a budget deficit of 10%
Scotland would also see higher growth, because of increased immigration
On whether an independent Scotland could opt to return to the UK “In theory, yes . . . But I think it would be a new precedent in world history for a country to become unindependent in a democratic vote after deciding to become independent.”
Without doubt England would vote not to allow you back in - if you vote to Leave you won't be coming back.

I don't think Scottish Independence is going away soon. I can't see why they'd keep voting in the SNP if they didn't want it.

Which is why they will stop voting SNP - Local elections in May will be the first sign of things to come.

55% turnout in the Holyrood elections.

Of which 46% of the 55% returned SNP votes.

It's not a ringing endorsement like they try to paint it. Sadly you're right but I'd say the unionist vote really needs to get off their !!!! and get them out of office. Simply voting down their referenda will not be sufficient for Scottish business.
