Lets agree to disagree and move on.
The relevant part is the likelihood of:
A/ An overall Tory win.
B/ The loss of SNP seats.
Combine that with an estimated 40% or less vote for the SNP from current estimates and Shaka Zulu is correct; the majority of Scots have no appetite for a further indyref.
As Thursday will show.
As you say, let's agree to disagree and move on.0 -

Spoke to a yes voter today that is voting Labour ... they appear angry with Sturgeon ... now Shaka ( sorry phone automatically wrote Shake) would say that's a vote for the union ... but this person would never vote No ...
So I reckon your right for some it's about indy for some it's about Brexit for others the NHS for some education ... everyone has their reason for voting the way they do0 -
Came across this today.
Ruth was wrong when she said 1/5 Scots children leave primary school ‘functionally illiterate’.
The ‘one in five’ statistic that Davidson cited comes from the 2014 report on literacy. The most recent 2016 results came out on 9 May, days after she made her claim.

I'm not dancing round the flaming spiral mulberry bush with you despite your attempts.

But I am still awaiting an answer to your blatant lie.
To remind you:A_Medium_Size_Jock wrote: »When you've done attacking both myself and other posters, how about answering my question?
If as you say these alleged posts are not prior to recent events, proof of statements since the demise of Tory polls this week please? (Now last week, please note.)
*Note*
Incessant waffle and bluster are not asked for.
The following is:
Evidence (links) of posts[STRIKE] this [/STRIKE]last week corroborating "'I've read in these forums predictions that the Conservatives are predicting up to 15 seats in Scotland"?
No apology ISTL?0 -

To remind you:
No admission of guilt ISTL?
No apology ISTL?
No guilt.
No lie.
No need for an apology.
Most importantly, I'm not dancing round the flaming spiral mulberry bush anymore with you.
I've learned that lesson.
I hope you get the clear message now.:wall:

Nationalists still talking sh**e on here are they?
Don't suppose I ever got a reply to the statistics ISTL wanted? Or perhaps didn't want once the truth was known.
Bottom line is whether you like it or not, the union is hugely important to Scotland, in many ways. You will absolutely not be better off independent and outside of the union, that can be proven in many ways also.
For every hypothetical positive there are multiple realistic negatives. These people are just not cogent lucid thinkers. They believe myths wrapped up in lies and proclaim that their truth is a better truth (as if that's even possible), the only truth that matters.
For these people, that which disproves their truth is to be challenged, if that is not possible it is to be ignored.
The average person on the street when confronted with the reality and facts, which we all agree they will never get as the SNP would not allow it, will see that independence is not in their nor Scotland's best interests. Which is hilariously ironic as what is in Scotland's best interests is a platitude that continually emanates from the minds of Scottish nationalists here, on the street and in the wider social media sphere.0 -

EnjoyThere is evidence that the literacy skills of Scotland’s school pupils have worsened over the last four years, which is shown in the most recent survey.0 -

If you cannot refute your statement or provide proof it is indeed a lie.
Since you refuse to do so it must follow that you told a lie and I (and others, I suspect) will continue to point out when you attempt to do so.
Case proven.
Again.
That message certainly is clear to myself and other posters here.0 -

Don't expect honesty from separatists here Tricky.
You know by know that their only interest is discord and division.
Fortunately it really does look like more and more Scots realise this as Thursday will very clearly demonstrate.
Though you can be sure that the pro-SNP/pro-indy lot on here will do their damndest to put a positive spin on it somehow.0
