Oh you sweet summer child... ;)

In the still unlikely event of a hung parliament the Tories if they had more seats would try and form a govt. Both Labour and the SNP would vote against.. then it's over to Labour to try and form a minority govt. The SNP are under no obligation to vote for them either... Labour would ( like Cameron did with Clegg ) have to sit down and work out a deal, Labour maybe to offer some kind of concession, or something the SNP really want, maybe a wee vote of come kind ? What could it be, not an AV referendum this time like Clegg got.. but a section 30 perhaps ? In order to form a working govt.

In any case I don't think Corbyn is particularly bothered or very interested in Scotland. He only seems to say something whenever Scottish Labour give him a poke in the ribs now and again. If it's a hung parliament and whatever the narratives about no deals, no talks etc is now.. he's going to have to talk to the SNP sooner or later otherwise the SNP will just abstain when he tries to form a govt. Or else just vote him in, then abstain on everything else until a section 30 or whatever is voted through.

There will be no labour / SNP coalition.
The SNP could support Labour in a minority government where policies are similar and with Labour endorsing more and more SNP policies, there are similarities.
The SNP have experience of minority governments and how to get cross party consensus

Hung parliament still very unlikely. But I agree, if it were to happen no formal coalition. Neither party wants it and the SNP certainly don't want to have anything to do with Labour's Brexit stance.

Labour would have to talk to the SNP though if the arithmetic dictated. And they're likely to either want their previously dismissed Scotland in Single market/far reaching devolution proposals taken seriously and taken to Brexit negotiations. Or a section 30.. and anyway Corbyn does like dialogue. ;)
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Still living in fantasy land, I see. Pity you won't be able to test your theory as you'll wake up on Friday morning to a Tory government with an increased majority partly due to Scottish votes.

How many Scottish seats do you envisage the Conservative will win?
I doubt that will increase the majority by much if any.

New polls point to SNP losing ten Westminster seats

    "
THE SNP is on course for a double-digit general election loss on Thursday, with two polls suggesting the party will lose 10 of the 56 seats it won in 2015.
Both Survation for the Sunday Post and Panelbase for the Sunday Times also suggested Labour support in Scotland, as in England, had risen sharply in recent weeks.

That's in alignment with what is a normal leading party in Scotland.

Problem is that it still points towards a hung parliament and the Conservatives have not made enough inroads or advantages over Labour.

Finally, as we all know, the only poll that matters is the one on voting day at the polling booth

Where in all likelihood the popular vote will show that the Scots have no appetite for another referendum.

The SNP's response will be to drop the voting age to 12. :rotfl:

An d increase the already heavy indoctrination within our primary schools!

Its clear, you believe that the GE is a binary vote on Independence, I don't.

Lets agree to disagree and move on.
