Lol, go find your analogy then and see who brought the analogy of the employee asking for leave and the rights of the employer to reject.
Which is why I then said it was poor in the context you wanted to use as employers cannot deny indefinitely:wall:

Maybe time for another self imposed break from this thread?
I'm sure I am not the only one thinking that this is what some posters in this thread seem to be trying to do? Push other posters off by means fair or foul, so to speak.0 -

It's difficult talking with these people, yes. One lie after another, and when you put time and effort into sourcing information for them to digest, it's ignored.
Perhaps I should self impose a ban again for some peace of mind not to be bombarded by deceit. It's not necessarily a 'bad day', just the trolls appear to be out in force this Friday.
I find claiming I said something which I did not infuriating, especially since that poster was the protagonist which led to a myriad of posts arguing about whether or not the analogy included employment law, completely disregarding the point being made. I suppose that's par for the course on this thread though.0 -

Can you explain that?

Here's the post you made and my responseTrickyTree83 wrote: »Oh no no. Now you're just making stuff up.
When you request annual leave from someone who can approve it at work you don't then inherit the right to take leave whenever you ask for it regardless.
Westminster can say no.
Very poor analogy there Tricky.
Your using the simile that Westminster is saying not now when asked about the referendum (annual leave), but legally, the employee (Scottish Government in your simile) is entitled to leave at some point within the annual period.:wall:

I'll take that as you can't answer.
Maybe the poster I was responding can add value where you have not.:wall:

Yep.
That's employment law in bold.

Sorry.
Not a problem, I've made errors too e.g. When the snap election is.
Let's move on. :T:wall:
