I so wish I was going home to a nice slow-cooked meal this evening! It's worth putting on just for the way it makes your home smell great :D

    Twonk! Twonk!

Twonk is a very onomatopoeic word! (With a small 'o'!) :D

I considered getting a dashcam until I realised all it would record would be a fairly continuous stream of comments on other driver's abilities. Including many uses of the words twonk, pillock and similar.

    Evening my lovelies,

Just signed me and action man up to a town tidy on sunday. This is our year of giving back to people. Be it by volunteering or giving a donation.

Need to remind husband and Action man to nominate their charity for the year.

    Yours

    Calley X

    Hello :waves:

I finally took down the christmas tree. But i kept the lights. If anyone has seen Stranger Things on Netflix, her living room? Yeah it looks like that, thats i'm trying to communicate with the Upside Down :rotfl:

Work is......back to being dead! yay! So quiet and chilled! Also got told i can take froday off and still get paid for it  (something to do with a "floating day" and us being closed xmas day?)

Code sounds like you're doign the right thing, nobody should be a second choice or just some option they bring out when they fancy it. Stuff that, if she a a decent friend she wouldnt treat you like that.

WaS, sorry about the psychosis and your penguin (its happened to me before, number 1iing myself has happened a few times, but the worst was the number 2ing...i felt horrible after :o )

Thats a very selfless and nice idea Calley :) we should all tale a leaf out for your book and do something charitable. There was a film ages ago (with a young Haley Joel Osmont) called pay it forward, it was based around te idea that if someone does good for you, you pass it on, and "pay it forward£ (sad ending though).

Back to work. I could actually cry. DA dog is not impressed as for the past couple of weeks he's been straight on the bed for cuddle time and instead I dragged him out in the cold for walks.

Still not got an interview yet. Le sigh.

Everyone send your strongest interview codemonkey vibes to the old place please.

I may cry code.... third day back, first day my boss is back in and I can tell that the moment of coming clean about the big huge thing I haven't done (and won't be doing) is coming ever closer. Also have killer pmt.

Just have to hope that he's way too busy to speak to me (this often happens, and we're at opposite ends of the country which helps).

Have everything crossed you hear about an interview soon. Is there a deadline or anything for the job you've applied for at the old place?

I'll be sending off my application this evening to 'potentially interesting but hardly any money' job... wish me luck!

Tea, would it help to tell him about the big huge thing right now and get it off your chest, and then at least that's done then?

Rather than worrying and worrying about it for more days?

Thank you MU. I feel that I have so much more than a lot of people and very lucky to have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my belly.

Well my lovelies my cold has hit me good and proper. Got throat and ear ache yay!!!! Was suppose to go and see action man today but don't think hanging around waiting for buses in the cold is a such a good idea. So will have to wait until saturday to see him. I know he is gutted about it. But I would rather be snug and warm.

Also I have his tv and x box LOL!!!!
