    Lambyr!

So let them see right through it! Take the phone off the hook, (or unplug it).

Or better still, say in September that you will come to them this year, seeing as how you have hosted them two years running, and you feel you deserve to be waited on this time! Do it!

If they out and out refuse, THEN say that you will be taking your mum abroad for a Christmas holiday! Then barricade the castle!

Aaaargh! Let me at 'em! Let me at 'em!

Thank you, Melly! I have been on a news blackout for days now and will continue not to look.

Hopefully the relatives go sooner rather than later, Lambyr. Do you have some times slotted in to see E?

We had a very quiet day but we enjoyed it. Well I did, poor WaSp ended up quite grumpy. He had been worrying about Milliefleur spending her first Christmas in the care home, even considering driving 150 miles to visit her. He called her in the afternoon and she was having the time of her life. She was talking to other residents while he was on the phone and totally distracted, after 10 minutes she said she had to go because they were bringing wine and cake and hung up on him! WaSp was really quite put out because he had spent so much time worrying about her and in reality she was having so much fun she didn't want to talk! It is of course wonderful but at the same time poor WaSp felt rather rejected!

Oh poor WaSp! Such mixed feelings!

Reminded me of my two dogs going to their holiday camp (kennels) and not even looking back towards me!

You want them not to be pining, but on the other hand it hurts not to be missed! :D:(:D:(

It is the best case scenario for WaSp, though. At least he doesn't
have to worry about her any more.

  • He was shouting a little when he got off the phone, it was half relief and half feeling a bit pushed away! We certainly don't need to worry, she has a carol concert today and the home have events planned for all the way through to the new year. I think WaSp could have done with her expressing a tiny bit of sadness though!

It sounds like the best news you could have for Christmas, WAS.

Millefleur has certainly landed on her feet there.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Honestly, the home looks like a country house hotel, I want to move in! Fortunately Millielfeur has some quite high pensions so they placed her in a private home and use the funds from those to pay for it, the care is amazing and they even have a little shop in the grounds for residents to do their own shopping. Nevermind the fact they have a bar which Milliefleur appears to visit daily with her new best friend.

At home she was going to bed by 8pm because she was bored, she is now staying up until midnight every night, usually in said bar! She has her own tv and radio and a phone in her room, it looks exactly like a hotel. She is very happy, far happier than she has been for years!

Oh, and she is getting a budgie! They are allowed pets!
