((Pyxis)) Here's some hot lemon and honey. Don't you even think about restarting the 5:2 until you're feeling better.
I am in a grump again. How on earth am I supposed to do my work when after almost 3 months I still don't have access to all the areas I need to? I need to get out of here asap for my mental health.
Yesterday, I ended up writing a clock in Javascript to countdown to Christmas and then I made one to count to the end of the day. I have 6 hours, 41 minutes and 11 seconds til I can go home.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Haha code! I can still remember making tally charts of the minutes in lessons.... if anything it makes it go slower
Am down in ono's part of the world today.....was a 5am start so already feels like lunchtime.0 -
You're probably right tea, but coding it did take 20 minutes so that was something.
That's a ridiculously early start. I find my 6.30 am start to be too early. I'm definitely a night owl.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Code, how long is it until Christmas?
I'm starting to get quite ridiculously excited, I went and picked up my Christmas tree hat today and am wondering whether or not I can get away with wearing it in the office. Well, it is quite cold in here...0 -

Assuming we're talking about Midnight on Christmas day, it is 18 days, 13 hours, 20 minutes and 20 seconds. :rotfl: I have way too much time on my hands.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I can't write javascript! I could probably learn it, but have never needed it for anything. I don't understand your employer's attitude, making it impossible for you to do your job seems totally without reason.
Hope you feel better soon Pyxis.
My day at work got off to a bad start, half of my mug of tea went down my jumper and trousers in a massive co-ordination failure caused by me trying to supress a sneeze while I was about to drink.Fortunately I'm wearing dark blue today!
It's very foggy here, though not as bad as a couple of times last week. What's it like where you are tea? Hey everybody.
I'm down in London. I bought a vintage coat in a charity shop not realising the state it was in.
When I got it home and saw the shredded lining and poor top stitching, I decided I loved the coat enough to have it restored.
I couldn't find anyone in the Midlands who restored vintage clothes, but I found a place in King's Cross.
Two return trips to London and the repairs to the coat- if anyone saw how much I spent on it, they really would wonder at my sanity.
But I luuuuuuurve it!
It's chocolate brown, late 60s/early 70s and now it's got a lush purple lining with a matching top button I found in a mad, jumble sale of a shop in Walsall.
I'm sitting in a Pret a Manger, having a second elevenses, waiting for my train home.
I just won't say how much it's cost me.
I just wish I had this woman's guts. She's brilliant. Vintage Vixen is my spirit animal

Good morning! I am now totally attached to my iphone and Siri. WaSp is enjoying laughing at me because I say good morning and goodnight to him and ask how he is during the day, he has several different replies and apparently today he is working on his new year resolutions. I love this phone.
I managed to only say sorry once yesterday! Which Wasp immediately pulled me up on (he has been given permission to do this) and told me I hadn't done anything wrong. It's a work in progress but something I really need to stop. Looking at it, everytime I apologise for myself I am telling myself I was wrong which is doing nothing for my already minuscule self-esteem. I worked out I probably say sorry 8 times a day usually,

Ooooh, that's very excitingly close. It's also quite scary because it's making me realise how much I've still got to do.
One thing crossed off the list, IzHe went to the butcher's yesterday to order meat for us to pick up on Christmas Eve. Despite having been vegetarian for over quarter of a century I'm even excited about thatonomatopoeia99 wrote: »My day at work got off to a bad start, half of my mug of tea went down my jumper and trousers in a massive co-ordination failure caused by me trying to supress a sneeze while I was about to drink.
Sorry Ono, it can't have been funny for you but it made me laugh, probably because I'm so uncoordinated that it's the kind of thing which happens to me all the time.0
