Hes not but he will be if it carries on.

He claims that he concerned about the debt but seems to making no in roads. if that was me I would get a second job/source of income and be cutting right back. Not keep traveling 40/50 miles one way to meet woman off the internet.

I seriously don't think he has any idea about money. Even simple stuff like turning off a socket when its not needed. I am on water meter so when I do the washing up I save the cold water before it heats up. And use that for watering plants or rinsing stuff out. Nope he does not. He does do that when having a shower and I use that water for flushing loos etc.

I can always tell when its pay day. He buys more take outs and beer. All he can whinge about the debt ad that its not fair and its half each with his ex. I said does not matter you both ran it up. Get it paid off.

At least he seems to have taken my advice about the on/off gf and is not seeing her. Only took nearly 9 months to get there!

Don't worry I do that sometimes. if its getting a bit boring I tend to get halfway and then skim read.

I did that this morning and I thought where did that bit of information come from. Looked back at yes it was in the op:rotfl:

No problem at all, Whitewing! I quite like the idea of penguining the C word until December, it makes it more exciting! That is a really good idea!

Ugh, Council tax is a priority bill and one of the worse he could get behind on Calley. He really needs to deal with that.

    Chocolate biscuit time, tea!

Thank you for that lovely post, SDW and huge congratulations to you both. WaSp always tells people that I am his best friend, it's how he describes our relationship. Yes, we cuddle and we love each other very much but for both of us the strongest thing is the friendship by far. We have always been the very best of friends. Really, that is what has held us together through the roughest times.

Hahaha! I love you dad's sense of humour, Izadora! He would get on well with WaSp!

Glad you feel a bit better, Lambyr!

I switched my doctor and left it a few days. Phoned and appointment next week, much better than old surgery.

On Sunday I have a family get together which I have mixed feelings about. My sibling is hard to get on with and there will be someone I don't know so rather anxious.

WaS next year is our 30th anniversary. I am blessed to have him in my life.

Aw, congratulations to you both, Torry! That is lovely to hear! I am sure he feels blessed to have you in his life too.

I hope Sunday is bearable for you, maybe have a clear time set when you will leave so that you know it won't go on indefinitely? I often find it helpful in those circumstances to know that there is an end in sight just in case it becomes difficult.

I had weird dreams last night too, but I can't remember what they were.

I know I woke myself up talking.

Does anyone else, when they wake up talking, feel that they have to finish the sentence? :rotfl:

I watched the men's triathlon today. Sea swimming, then cycling, then running. I forget the distances. It was very good. The atmosphere between the runners was great. And no booing!

Shan't say who won it in case it's a spoiler. Although the results are always on every news bulletin, so it probably wouldn't matter.

The commentators are still talking about all the booing of contestants that's been going on. Booing someone just because they're competing against the person you want to win is just awful.
The French pole-vaulter they were booing yesterday was at the triathlon today to support the French entrant, and our commentator said some nice things about him.

I watched some golf, too. I love the on-screen things where they paint in the arc of the ball after it's been hit. I could never ever see the ball before.
And in races, the bars which show you the world record line and where the lead people are relative to it. It's great! It really helps.

I seemed to have missed all the gymnastics, though. Bother. 16-years old, our little winner was!

Our medals total is incredible! I was hearing how much money has been invested in our sportspersons over the last 18 years, since the lottery started funding it, and it has really paid off! I don't mind having my flutter now! I can say......see those gold medals? I paid for those! Hahahahahahahahahah!

  • Hahahaha! All the time, Pyxis! Because I have a sleep disorder I not only sleeptalk I also sleepwalk. This can result in me walking out of the bedroom and saying total nonsense to WaSp and then waking myself up with my own voice and wondering what on earth I am doing. WaSp used to find it a tad scary, now he cracks up laughing and tells me to go back to bed.

WaSp also sleep talks and the most memorable episode was him suddenly yelling "It's all blocked with sweetcorn!" in the middle of the night.

    Evening All,

Anyway meet potential lodger again tonight for a drink and brought him back to see what he thinks. I told him the room would be decorated.

Its sounds like he will be away a lot of the time. But expect it will nicer than a B & B with someone around. We get on really well and it will nice to have someone to chat to besides my idiot lodger:rotfl:

Will have to wait and see.

Saw this cross stitch and thought it was apt
