We watched Mrs Brown too. I love that they seem to genuinely laugh themselves.
ER is now a lot better from her recent infection. She has been to the gym (in Rehab). Don't know what she did. I still don't actually know how the stroke has affected her movement - we have been so concerned about her confusion. I will see her today.
Littlewing and I are still busy with my over-ambitious crafting plans for MIL's birthday. Various half-finished projects. What has been done looks brilliant (if I say so myself). Not saleable brilliant. But grandparent-will-love-it brilliant.
What a milestone - me describing something we did as brilliant. I am coming on!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

!
That's what cracks me up too! :rotfl:
Glad ER is a lot better.
Your crafting projects sound fab! :T
Pulled muscle at the top of my leg was healing nicely, was begininning to be able to put pressure on that leg again, and then when going to bed last night I stood on the cat (I swear he tries his best to ambush me!) and jarred my leg again, so now that's hurting and my back is too.Plus, I blooming hate Sundays....ok moan over....for now

Tenative hugs Georgie. I also hurt my back going to bed last night. Must have been the night for it.
Have any of you Mrs Brown fans seen Still Game? I like that better, but maybe just my sense of humor. I think you can get episodes on You Tube. Jack reminds me of my dad a bit.
Here it is warm but raining a lot. I am dreading work tomorrow. I was trying to be organised and do everything by the book but inadvertently kicked off a massive s***storm which is going to strain the already fragile working relationship I have with my team manager ( he also gets to pick who gets the promotion if my manager's job is ever advertised). Also I interviewed for a new job and they really liked me but haven't offered any job yet, so happy positive golden light thoughts for me please.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Gentle hugs back ((((code))))
Fingers crossed they offer you the new job very soon....sending positive thoughts!
I've never watched Still Game, infact I've never heard of it. Sounds like the kind of thing I would like though.
My Mam is off to watch Andre Rieu in a live streaming concert at the local cinema with her friend. She's not really a fan, but her friend is. They're going for Sunday lunch first. It's nice to see they've reopened the old cinema again after years of it being closed due to the big multiplex in the next town.0 -
Sounds like a nice day our for your mum. The cinema I used to go to as a kid closed down about 20 years ago but as the building was protected they couldn't do anything with it so it has just lain empty since then. I've just heard they are reopening it as a cinema, which makes me very happy.
Read this earlier and have bookmarked it for days where I don't feel too good about my body. Warning: contains penguins regarding body image, weight and eating disorders.

Afternoon my lovelies,
Feeling a bit out of sorts. Not heard from lego man since 6pm last night. Making me feel a bit edgy, I am sure there is nothing wrong. But for someone who says morning and night every day. And I am suppose to be going over there this evening.
I had chocolate cake for breakfast. not as bad as it sounds as it was made from bananas, peanut butter, cocoa and protein powder. it was suppose to be a chocolate brownie but I think I over cooked it so its like cake :rotfl:
Dull here today but still warm.
I will be in cool area of the fort. Chilling.
Yours

Hello everyone!
It seems to finally be getting a bit cooler. Yay! Yesterday was muggy as anything.
So I've beeen a fairly rubbish girlfriend this weekend. From annoying E in the car with Swedish pop-style disco-metalcore music, to making her the wrong drink, twice, to falling asleep earlier than normal! Still, I couldn't be bothered to cook, so I did order pizza for us and got her some cookies... though I may have eaten one myself, in addition to the ones I ordered for me! :rotfl:
Salad again today.
Got a meeting with her dad next week to sort out what he wants for this job.
WW - great to hear ER is doing better! She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?0 -

That sounds very much like ours, closed down about 20 or so years ago and just lain empty. A photographer friend of mine went into it years after it had closed, and it just looked exactly the same, nothing had changed, infact I think they've still got the same seats and stuff now that it's reopened!
I've many happy memories of there from when I was little. My Dad and my Uncle always took me to watch all the Disney films!

Afternoon all, hope everyone's doing ok.
Much more pleasant weather here today, after another scorcher yesterday. Although on the plus side have done a LOT of washing in the last few days....now just wondering if I can be bothered to do any ironing. Just got back from an hour walk hunting pokemon :rotfl:0 -
It rained here earlier and the lawn is still too wet to mow, so my plans for this afternoon are thwarted. Basically achieved nothing today apart from watching some motor racing on the telly, so after a cup of tea I might walk my usual ingress route, which is now an ingress + pokemon routeProud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
