    Good evening everyone!

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, Elsien. I was just in the middle of writing a reply when gf arrived!

It's a semi-regular thing with my mum. Once or twice a week she'll get up far too early considering when she went to bed. She actually did it again this morning at 6:15! But at least this morning, she realised it was far too early because even the dog wasn't having any of it, ignored her and carried on sleeping so she went back to bed and I was able to go back to bed for a couple of hours and get some more cuddling time.

Had quite a nice day yesterday. Managed to get to the park for an hour as planned. And not quite twerking stormtroopers but we had quite the storm last night which knocked out the satellite, so I was gonna put something recorded on for mum but she asked if E (not gf's actual initial, but seems easier to refer to her by something so based on prior convos I'm going with E for Elf!) and I wanted to watch something, so we had a gander through the on-demand and E wanted to watch Star Wars E4.

Didn't think mum would be that into it, but seems she really enjoyed it and then we ended up watching E5 straight afterwards! :)

The heat is too much today though. Got the windows open, fan going and wearing just a sports bra and shorts and still feel like I'm in a slow cooker.

I am trying to get info on my side of the family for a family tree and photos for littlewing. (DH will do his side). So I have been interviewing relatives this afternoon in the garden and have pages of notes. Also saw some photos that I hadn't seen before.

If people weren't married but had children, how do you put that on a family tree? (I was never married to littlewing's half-brother's dad).

I've seen a few family trees where they use - - - - - rather than solid lines to indicate the child of an unmarried couple but I dunno if that is the correct way to do it?

That's what I have seen for family trees too, Lamb. Can I call you Lamb? I have a certain little one who is ridiculously excited at having a lamb on the thread and immediately thinks you are lovely as a consequence.

    Monkey cat is gorgeous Georgie!

I have a thumping headache today, that will teach me for letting Lucee out for ages. People with DID/MPD tend to get very bad headaches when they switch to others, something to do with the brain chemistry changing. The more you swap around, the worse the headache, different parts of the brain light up on scans when you swap. In fact part of the diagnosis is if you get a certain type of headache. Oh well, she had the time of her life which is what counts.

In other annoying things WaSp overturned the sofa avalanche while looking for the tv remote and now I can't find anything. Because I hoard I tend to survive in organised chaos, there might seem to be a pile of random things and papers next to me on the sofa but I know exactly what pile everything is in and can lay my hands on anything straight away. Now some is on the floor, some was on my seat and it's a complete mess. What's worse is now I am going to have tidy it up! Grump, grump, grump.

Yep, I don't mind being called Lamb :)

I understand your organised chaos! Nobody understands that I do have a system, and as long as nobody moves anything I know where everything is! I'm not a hoarder but I just have a bit of a affinity for ordering things in a seemingly disorganised way.

Even my computer setup is the same. I have a network drive and I know exactly where everything is in the maze of folders and subfolders. E thinks my system is bonkers, but it works for me!

I am so glad it isn't just me! My piles of things do look chaotic but I know everything in every pile so I can find what I need straight away. Now it is all moved it is just a huge mess and I'm totally lost! WaSp being very logical says well, put it away in drawers. If I did that I wouldn't remember where anything was. I work to a seemingly chaotic system but it makes sense to me!
