Please can I have the Spanish for "I am not a turtle" to use on my forthcoming trip to Mexico.
I will have plenty of opportunity to use it as I am going to Akumal Bay, where there are loads of turtles I intend to swim with and a great environmental centre where I intend to have sneaky chats about water resource management in an attempt to sneak study stuff past my husband whilst we are on holiday.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Evening all and hi from Lucee! I want to go to the park and play on the slide and the swings. Or jump around in a bouncy castle. I think I have a little visitor. I will be back when she wanders off because she is messing my typing (and my life!) up. We don't really want a 6 year old typing on the thread! It's ironic because despite being the youngest she is the strongest out of all my others, she can still almost shove me out having control which would be funny but bad.

Hi WaS and Lucee
Is it sunny where you are?
Big black tom just broke in, had pickle cornered and scared her.
Don't worry its gone now, tomcat is guarding and pickle is sleeping0 -
Right, quick question, as I'm going cross eyed here with all the ebaying I've been doing this evening lol!
When I list things I try to use highly descriptive titles and info, and I can't for the life of me think what this pattern is called, any ideas anyone?
All I'm thinking is tribal, but I'm not sure that's right and am sure I'm missing what the pattern is.0 -
Is it Paisley pattern?Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Hahahaha! She doesn't need encouragement, Pyxis!
It is very sunny today, Melly!
It has taken me 5 attempts to reply to this, my typing has collapsed. I am stuck between my spelling and a 6 year old's, it would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating! WaSp just said I was in a good mood because I keep giggling. I am in a frustrated mood, it's a certain little person who is very happy! Anyone want a little girl? Free to a good home! That doesn't upset her when I say that, she finds it hilarious and is quite happy to live with someone else who isn't so boring! She has no loyalty! :rotfl:Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
