Good morning everyone,
I stayed late yesterday for a call with a client in France, only for them to not 'turn up'. So headed straight home for a chilled and early night. Phone call with my mum for a bit then had my dinner and went to bed.
Spends: £0

No gym this morning as I still couldn't find the energy, but yoga at lunch and a run tonight will balance that out. Still got some small bits and bobs I'd like to do around the house, including a pile of ironing, so I'll tackle that tonight i hope. Omelette on the menu tonight I believe.0 -
Good morning everyone,
It's cold, dark and windy here this morning. Which, according to my phone, won't change for the next 7 days. The joys.
I stayed a little bit later in work yesterday, which resulted in my losing enthusiasm for the gym. Home to make a light dinner and then managed to grab an hour on the Xbox with the boys before bed.
Spends: £2 for yoga (but all accounted for as a recurring expense)

Got myself to the gym this morning which I am pleased about. As I did yesterday, I have the intention of going a run tonight but we'll see how that goes. I've said no to football training as I want to watch my footie team on TV. I don't normally do that but it's a must win, plus we're not playing at the weekend either.
Speaking of football, I ordered myself a new pair of boots in the Black Friday sale (saved £145 btw). Got them eventually and they were too small. Fine, sent them back, asked for them a size bigger. Just checked my bank as I do every morning and they've refunded me. Went on the website and they're now back up in price. So I'll be giving them a phone at lunch today!0 -
Good morning and happy Friday everyone,
Yesterday evening went to the vague and boring plan I had. Had my weekly catch up with my gran for 45 minutes, made my dinner, done the ironing, watched the footie and finished making some Viennese whirls, which have turned out quite nice actually. Was in bed for 10 and the politics chat on the radio soon put me to sleep.
Spends: £9.07 (Tesco for a top-up shop)

Facetime with my step-bro in South Korea this morning and then off to the gym. I'm still undecided on whither I am going to attend my friends boxing event tonight. If I do, I'll be taking the car, probably going on my own and will end up buying a drink or a snack. If I don't go, I'll save the money and I'd go a run. I'll see how I feel come the end of my work day.
My weekend is looking pretty standard aside from a date with a new lass on Saturday night. I'm driving down to Chester for a couple of drinks. She seems a nice girl, actually too nice, so I'm waiting to see what the catch is. Hopefully there isn't one. I'll spill the beans on Monday morning to you all.
Have a nice weekend.0 -
Happy Monday!
The internet ate my post, so a shorted version;
Friday: I ended up going to my friends boxing event. Whilst the ticket was free, I bought a drink and a hot dog, ruining my NSD. I was there myself so I just took the car.
Spends: £9
Saturday: Usual morning for me followed by date night which went really well. Nice girl who made me laugh a lot. We've agreed to a second date at some point, too.
Spends: £30 (ish) on drinks, £40 of food shopping, £2 on yoga, £1 car parking
Sunday: Life admin. Ran 6.5 miles which is a new record since my knee pain. Bagged a NSD
Spends: £0

No gym this morning, too tired when I woke. Yoga and some other exercise tonight to make up for it.0 -
Good morning everyone,
Managed to go to the gym after work yesterday to spend a bit of time on the bike whilst watching Netflix and then yoga afterwards. Straight to bed when I got home.
Spends: £2 - yoga (accounted for)

FaceTime with step-bro in South Korea this morning for our weekly natter, which also means I went to the gym too. Today, I'll decide what I'm doing for some final Xmas gifts. I might have to nip to the Trafford Centre. Regardless, tonight's task is wrapping. Freezer roulette for dinner.
Stay warm everyone!0 -
Good morning - 1 week to go!
I began tackling my Xmas wrapping last night. 2 hours later I still wasn't finished. That's not to say I had a lot to wrap, just that I am pants at it. Went to bed at 9.
Spends: £0

Gym this morning as I woke feeling fresh. My fitbit says I slept 7hrs 26m, which is a stat I've become somewhat addicted to checking in the morning and comparing with how I feel, just so I can figure out my optimal time. My plans tonight are to finish wrapping first and foremost, then to tidy up, as I wont have much more time before I head back to Glasgow on Saturday.
Speaking of Saturday, a second date has been arranged for Saturday morning. I'll admit to feeling quite excited about this girl and I wanted to see her again before I disappeared to Scotland for two weeks. More so because I felt that texting for like 3 or 4 weeks was a bit awkward, so I wanted to squeeze in another date. We'll see how it goes.0 -
Good morning everyone,
I left work at a reasonable time, not before my boss gave me a bottle of very nice whisky (totally stereotypical given I'm Scottish but I do like it haha), which was a very nice gesture. It's been a tough year for us as a business and whilst I may not have earned the big commission cheques I was hoping for, we've made progress. Tonight's our Xmas night out, so I'm sure we'll have some merry heart to hearts at some point with senior management. Anyway, I had my weekly catch up with my lovely gran for a bit and finished wrapping my presents.

Gym this morning, which I'll probably regret come midnight and I'm shattered. I believe we'll be finishing work early-ish to get ready. It's not really a party, it's more of a dinner. And a fancy one at that. I've already picked my menu: pigeon > steak > fondant. I've no idea what my spends will be tonight but I'm only paying for travel and drinks, but given the premium venue, I'm sure they'll charge premium prices.0 -
Just dropping in after being away for an age. Glad to see things are going well for you and eh, I'm partial to a Whisky, myself! Particularly a Scotch
Haha
