Another case opened for item not received (thanks Royal Mail). Posted second class on Monday and it should have arrived yesterday
No contact from buyer, just a case opened with the comment "what has happened to my item"
I understand the buyer is disappointed that their item hadn't arrived, i would love to know what has happened to their item, and suspect it may arrive tomorrow.
Yet another late delivery strike. Oh well, blocked and refunded.

Not on Ebay, but the last message on a missing item was "where is it?".
I'd say it was a side effect of messaging but sadly that's how a lot of people speak in public. I've got a four year old that says please and thank-you and we get commended on his manners as though it's the most amazing thing ever..0 -

We often get complemented on our grandchildrens manners. It's sad that people see it as unusual
EBay buyers seem to go straight to opening a case when a simple email would be fine. Most of my items are under £5 so it's not as though we are talking large amounts of money. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I had a message from someone threatening negative feedback and reporting me to eBay if I don't refund, and the item was only a day late due to Royal Mail. I wrote back saying are you sure you contacted the right person, as I'm sure we didn't deserve such a rude message from them. And they replied, it isn't rude, it's your fault you are perceiving this message as rude.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. It's not just manners, it's vocabulary and communication as a whole.0

Another request for item not received. Not even any comments this time. Should have arrived yesterday according to EBay, so both buyers have opened cases immediately
I am now seriously concerned that I will lose my TRS over this, I am already at 1.76 % for late deliveries, and these two still have to be included
Just checked and out of 115 sales this month, only five have left feedback so my defect rate is going to go through the roof as this new stupid metric only takes into account the number of buyers who answer the delivered on time question
That's it, I'm off to look at Amazon. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

But you can keep your TRS easier by setting a 2 or 3 day dispatch time and forget about the TRS discount. That way you keep your exposure in best match up and at the same time aren't having your chain constantly yanked by eBay and "where is my item".
I have said this on here several times, but the lure of the discount seems to be all people can see.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -

It's nothing to do with the discount in my case. I sell greetings cards and a despatch time of 2 or 3 day despatch will put off lots of people. As it is, I get messages saying can you post Asap as I need by *******. It's obviously my fault they have forgotten.
On hold to CS and so far have been waiting 27 minutes. Obviously there are a lot of unhappy sellers out there. It's not that I shouldn't be wasting my time, since the two 'requests' my sales have stopped. I'm obviously being punished for being a bad seller.
Edit: Gave up holding after 42 minutes. EBay is becoming a complete joke. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever
