    Morning all!

    I ended up cooking a curry last night for tonight's dinner so that I can just heat it up after circuits, plus it used up the cream which was OOD (but absolutely fine!)

    Today I have/will:-
    * Check banks
    * Check FPL - was the site down for anyone else this morning?
    * Check TCB
    * Check QuidCo
    * Bedding on 30 degree ecowash - just wishing I'd done it last night so I could hang on the line today as its actually sunny at the moment!
    * No TV on this morning
    * Forgot to take fruit to work but I have some food there and snaffled a banana from boss
    * Charge phone in work
    * Snap receipt from purchase I had to make for boss this morning on way in
    * Update work expenses
    * Check Luckyphone - haven't earnt a single point yet though!
    * Get to £5 payout on Swagbucks!
    * Earn more on OnePoll
    * Go to circuits
    * Dinner from stores
    * Sort out laundry

    Think that's everything for today. Hope you all have a good day.

    Morning All :hello:

    Thanks for starting us Bob Ally 3000 posts :T

    Am playing a bit of catch up, both smalls up in the night. Didn't set my alarm as they are always up early - famous last words :eek: 7.45 eldest came in. We normally leave at 7.20 :eek: No real issue just meant I had to wait for DH to come home and DD was later to nursery and she had breakfast at home. Bet they're up at 6am on Saturday and Sunday though :rotfl:

    Today will look a bit like:

    Check banking, try for small PAD, update sheet
    Check surveys and FPL
    Meals from stores, try cook cake as I'm at home, check nothing on the 'turn' in fridge, try and make something for tomorrow for ease as I've a quick turnaround when back from work.
    Working from home so can do a couple of 'jobs' in between :D
    At least one thing from March/annoying thing list
    Investigate car seats for older one
    Make a spreadsheet to track cost of things we need to pay for for work we are doing on the house - I love a spreadsheet ;)
    Collect a few more items of clothing beyond the charity shop for my draft (sp?!) excluder.

    Hope everyone is ok

    Good Morning all,

    Had a horrible couple of days with family issues, with one being in and out of hospital so I've been caring for her 2 year old. An absolute angel to look after but so much energy!

    Today I will:
    *Post 3 things off for ebay Done!
    *Clear my desk Done!
    *Pick up ID badge from reception (not leaving the house today :( )
    *Iron my uniform for placement starting Monday
    *Make a plan for an essay due in two weeks.
    *Try and put 2 more things on ebay
    *General tidy
    *Fetch the little terror from Nursery at 6pm (need to double check this as my lovely momma may be fetching him for me)
    *2 Loads of washing Done!

    Wish me luck!

    Hope you all have a lovely day!x

    Make the change - I use Pataks tikka masala paste and basically follow the recipe on the jar! So it's not completely from scratch! Haven't tried any of their other pastes but I really like this one and find it more flavoursome that jars of sauce.

    Hi guys :hello:

    Thanks for starting us off Bob :A

    I'm working from home today. Have so much to do so I'll probably still be here at 9pm! You all know how much I love it though so I will be enjoying myself trying to get my code to work :rotfl:

    I cancelled my class this eve because of ^ and OH has the car and I can't get there without one. I will probably still get charged the £16 room hire and I could've gone but then OH would've needed to get the train and tram and would cost him over £25 so it was a no brainer really. Defo don't want to run 2 cars so these are the small sacrifices!!! :D

    Finished a survey so that was £3 for me :cool:

    Doing more of biz course :cool:

    Might have a scout around and see if there is anything to sell. :think:

    In other exciting news - we installed our own shutters! V exciting and saved us around £1k!! They were v easy to do. Also bought mdf ones rather than solid wood - I defo couldn't tell the difference.

    Still waiting on quid co payout and a pal to send the £34 she owes me... tick tock...

    Jonno - I don't use an alarm clock at all any more - when I wake up at 8am I now think 'I must've needed that' and feel good about it rather than thinking 'oh !!!!!!'. :) I guess it's a bit different when you've got kids to get to places, but it's been a complete mind shift for me and I now love it and don't sleep well when my alarm clock is set.

    JHiggins - you have just reminded me of my old flatmate at uni - he had frying steak every single night (no joke!) - fried with onions and topped with blue cheese. Mmmm (but defo not every night :D)

    xx

    I have been looking into doing that too. I buy paste with our Thai green curry and then add all the extras myself. Might try it! I realised my one jar of Thai green curry paste has done / will do in total 12 portions (thats 6 times me and OH have sat down or will sit down to have it) all because I froze it! So happy about that! And leftovers I pad out with extra veg and potatoes. It goes a long way!

    Make the change - I have a curry sayce recipe which I make from scratch in large quantities, divide up & freeze. It's cheap, easy & really versatile. You can add cooked leftover potatoes & veg to it for a veggie curry, leftover beef, pork or lamb, quorn, fish, frozen prawns, anything! I will try & remember to post the recipe on here for you. Do remind me if I forget x
