Yes it says on that on the email but if paying by paypal you will already have been charged

Thanks, judging by what's left on the website, it means all of my first order bar one item will be cancelled then! The one item is also a series 2 DVD, I ordered Series 1 and that's no longer available on the website, typical!

All the money is still ringfenced in my account though!

At least you havent been charged and you never know your luck you still might get them..they did say they will be using a faster delivery method once they get items to despatch so thats something too they seem to be doing their best

A closing down sale is just that: a sale prior to ceasing trading operations. The company itself will continue in existence for some considerable time after the end of the month to sort out the copious paperwork which will need to be dealt with.

I haven't been charged but I still can't access the money that I paid to the BBC shop, which is ok if all items end being included in the parcel, but if not, I'm a bit cross about it!

Edit: - Finally got an e-mail about the first order, one item cancelled and that's it!

I placed several orders on Saturday and all have been paid for via PayPal. All mine show as 'available for dispatch' so I have my fingers crossed I'll get at least some of my items.

Received my first package with no items missing!

Still waiting on another two.

Oh, my items cancelled in the other orders were were GoodFood and Mary Berry cookbooks.

Our order has now been despatched with no cancelled items Ours is all clothing though, perhaps not so popular.
