Just searching to buy my grandson some warm base layer football clothing. Bargain found with this company yet they want £4.99 delivery or £4.99 delivered to a local store for collection. This can't be right as they deliver to stores frequently.
You don't get cold playing football unless you're not trying.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0 -
I can confirm the way the Sports Direct warehouse works is you get pickers who have lists with stock to pick to go to stores, either to replace stock which was sold or to send new lines etc to store and you get people who have lists who have to pick online orders, then package them, then someone takes them to the correct place in the warehouse to ensure they are sent to the correct store.
Once they're in store, someone has to scan them in then they are sat taking up space which could be used for other things. That's why they charge £4.99 although they do give you a £5 voucher to use.
Also if you're referring to the base layers which were on an offer this week for about £5, you can't honestly expect them to deliver this for free?0 -

I totally agree that it's not right and the senior management of Sports direct should be ashamed with themselves.
They should hand deliver all orders directly to their customers totally free of charge and should also include a box of chocolates with each order.
Are you happy now amerste, now that someone has posted the only thing that you wanted to read?0 -

From memory I think they used to enclose a SD mug and only charge you a £1 for it!:D0 -
Just for those weighing in with SDI employment comments -

I'm sure in the good old days you got the mug free. I don't recall being charged for it anyway."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Well I won't be paying the same charge for a store delivery with their own service, when it could be delivered to home by courier.0
