Sports Direct

Just searching to buy my grandson some warm base layer football clothing. Bargain found with this company yet they want £4.99 delivery or £4.99 delivered to a local store for collection. This can't be right as they deliver to stores frequently.

Why charge to deliver to a store that they are delivering to. Still having to travel to collect.
Why do some people such as yourself not see justification. Thanks for no help at all.

    Yep its quite right.

Maybe the stock comes from a different warehouse via another method to store rather than on the HGV's with the SD logo on the side curtain.

Its what they charge and let you know of the charge. If you dont want to buy from them then look elsewhere.

What help are you looking for? You have not asked a question, only given your opinion. Are you just looking for people to agree with you?

tomtontom, I probably worded it wrong. But such as yourself you don't add anything constructive apart from wanting to argue. Please go away and try with someone else. I notice you don't give your location, shame.
DCFC79, can't agree on your point as this company delivers nationwide to it's shops with it's own vehicles from it's own warehouse.

yes,in bulk to stock their retail units.
Most (IME) click & collect set ups use their chosen courier to deliver to the stores (Tesco,John Lewis to name two)
Its simplistic to assume warehouses can fulfil large retail stock orders alongside small web orders.

I'm not sure how my location is relevant. I'm about 7 miles from the closest SD store so sadly cannot offer you assistance with collecting your item, if that's what you were asking?

If you do have a question then you need to ask one. We can't help if we don't know what you want help with.

Again, learn something. Tesco, John Lewis, Robert Dyas do not charge to deliver to their own stores.
