    Morning all

I've just had the best weekend in a long time. Good weather, good friends, lots of laughter and beer :D Feeling it now though as I was working in amongst all that too :rotfl: I'm not as young as I used to be for burning the candles at both ends :rotfl:

My weekend job..I now have a washing machine up and running and connected to the mains water and waste now I put my sink in the Utility Room...Next job will be to tile the splashback and tile my floors..Just need to go choose something...Thinking of a cream splashback tile for the sink area...No idea for floor tiles..Any suggestions from any budding interior designers will be appreciated...:D

Paying way too much:eek: - I bought these at 25p each in M (2.5p too much!) as I didn't realise A stocked them (I thought A only had the 400g versions:o). Won't work right now in A as only just gone to 25p in M.

Not expected ever to work on TBG as SELs I have are clear "Reduced to clear" and T exclude RTC items from TBG - so they will charge you 99p each (or maybe :eek:even more after tomorrow as 99p '...until 05/04/2016').

I have been out looking for floor tiles today, what a coincidence. :D

Think we are going to go for some from Tile Giant. Seem quite reasonable.

We have been told by our builder best tiles for kitchen floors are porcelain ones, so think we are going for these in natural but this shade is bit darker might do well in hiding muddy paws. ;)

The Beef Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese and Italian Macaroni Cheese ready meals are in the process of going up from £1 to £2.17 (and 3 for £6) in M, although I still have stock of some of them stickered at £1 and therefore they should take lowest price £1. However, I think they will very much risk picking up full price M after the update - they may not have the £1 stickered stock still around in the price collection Ms or, if they do, they may not notice them tucked into the shelves and the SELs in all stores I have seen today (only 3 of them, mind) say £2.17.

The Potato Gratin is also going up from £1 - to £1.81. Again, they may be older stickered stock at £1 around, on same BC - however, like me, they may only have stock of £1.81 in their Ms and the SELs are £1.81.

I should have taken a pic of my copper pipes before they were boxed in. :rotfl:

Plasterer was ill so no one here today. :(

I best say Hello :hello: just in case one of the guys who has been working for us is reading. He was sat outside 7.30am this morning waiting for the plasterer to turn up.

Not sure if he is going to join us here, he did ask me where I got the deals from as he was well impressed with the Ts wine glitch. I was just so relieved it worked for him. :D
