I am pleased to announce my first grandchild arrived last night.
A little girl weighing 8lb 6oz. Mother and baby doing well and I think my son has stopped crying now. Although she was in labour at home for 24 hours she only spent 3 hours in hospital and they are leaving to go home in a couple of hours. And she has my name as her second name!!

Wish I could afford to give up work to help and with my daughter's that is due in 16 weeks. But unfortunately I am one of the women born in 1954 who wont retire until 65.5!!

    Congratulations Nanny :)

Just Ts. Make sure you get an item for 25p+ too, as there's a bit of overage ;)

I've just received that too.....can't say I've ever seen them.....

Must pass on my best wishes to Rose and family.....hope everything is going to plan:)

Surely I didn't read that hg is going on holiday again:eek:
I don't think I've been on holiday since I went to Spain last September :p The California trip in January was just me on my own and was work related ;)
We had an amazing surprise when we got here though - went to the check in desk and we've been given a free upgrade to a club level concierge room. If we were paying it would have added about £2k to the cost of the holiday. Still reeling!!!
    Morning all :D

Good morning all, a bit damp out there.

I have decided to find one and not tell OH, if I mention to him I am looking for something it all becomes so convoluted :)

I feel your pain, I really do :o. When I decided I wanted a new 'decent' camera I spent hours looking online, comparing picture qualities etc and foolishly told dh. Well that was that  he insisted we go to a certain camera shop (can't remember the name now) he would pay for it etc etc I felt bulldozed into it.
Yes I got the one I wanted but I could have got a better deal maybe online grrrrrrrrr. Yes he paid for it

Congratulations Grandma rose, welcome to Grandmas World. Such a good weight too, bet she has chubby legs :)
Pleased that mum and baby are doing well X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
