I don't think I've been on holiday since I went to Spain last September The California trip in January was just me on my own and was work related
We had an amazing surprise when we got here though - went to the check in desk and we've been given a free upgrade to a club level concierge room. If we were paying it would have added about £2k to the cost of the holiday. Still reeling!!!

I feel your pain, I really do . When I decided I wanted a new 'decent' camera I spent hours looking online, comparing picture qualities etc and foolishly told dh.
