Hats off to you for agreeing to that.

I would have called that a 'big ask' and your family must all be so close to be even asked.

So would I. Just got back from dropping Dawn at the station for Machester at 7, Ruby at her nursery for 8 and Riley at school for 8.45. Had to get up at 6.

    Good Morning all :)

I haven't a lot of time but couldn't read and run hillbilly:)

What a life changing decision you've made! Probably one you will look back on and wonder why you ever doubted or hesitated. Getting to know your grandson better will be fabulous.....he will soon get used to you being around and you will soon get used to the driving.

The sad bit is leaving the job you love and no wonder that terrifies you.......you are being so selfless putting your family before yourself......I applaud you and wish you all the luck in the world:T

    What she said ^ :)

I've done it myself in the past, given up my job to look after grandchild but we only lived a few miles away so didn't have the worry of all the driving. You will soon get used to that bit Hillbilly, I think it's a wonderful thing you have done :T
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

2 more lots (both chickens) that are meant to be starting mb today but are unpop for me.

Only trouble is I don't know which ones they are by looking on line.

Someone may have better luck looking in store.

I think we as grandparents are playing a major part in keeping the UK economy going, so well done to all of us. :T

However I also think the government should wake up and take notice of that fact. Instead of expecting us to wait for our pensions till we are 66. (And that's about as political as I get.)

Good luck today, QoC. Hope it is a successful interview.

Now that DD is out of crisis, I too have to think about joining the search.

I am pleased to announce my first grandchild arrived last night.
A little girl weighing 8lb 6oz. Mother and baby doing well and I think my son has stopped crying now. Although she was in labour at home for 24 hours she only spent 3 hours in hospital and they are leaving to go home in a couple of hours. And she has my name as her second name!!

Wish I could afford to give up work to help and with my daughter's that is due in 16 weeks. But unfortunately I am one of the women born in 1954 who wont retire until 65.5!!

oh no, I am already struggling to get chicken and only have one of them.
Steak are abundant but several of my brood find them too strong, what with the stilton punch. :(

Sainsbury’s Double Up with Nectar is coming end of March
Are you thinking about exchanging some Nectar points? If you want to get more money for your points, wait until the 30th March.

For 7 days, starting on the 30th March, Sainsbury’s is running a Nectar points double up promotion. Customers can exchange their Nectar points for vouchers worth twice their usual value to spend in 6 departments.

Inside each box is a voucher for a free pie, its stickered on the front and only for a week or so to celebrate national pie week.......buy one pie and rinse and repeat as much as your legs will allow ;)
