There will be a cake photo from the weekend TM just as soon as I work out how to edit out the personal bit.

Oh yes.....Almond milk has gone up to £1.50 in store:o
It was £1 in my sainsburys today. Bit late to this but presume use quite a few voucher at once in a 10 item shop and end up paying £1 MOC value.
I do not use milk but use rice milk etc and dgd is happy with almond milk when she stays.. Not done any proper shopping for a long time but still gobsmacked by amount of washing capsules I have accumulated.
Not a great deal of space until I get a shed put up or at least a link box in garden.
Still a few bis to bring over from old house which I think will have to go in mums garage.

I'll just be honestand ask.....Do you paint according to your mood? This seems a lot darker than your usual creations. That's not a criticism at all, your talent is stunning and undeniable. I'd just rather stick with my lovely poppies
I just collect photo copies of picture I like. Last week they were finishing a project I missed while on holiday so took pastels to finish a picture of family of hares. When finished I looked through my pastel paper and found this one so was spur of moment choice.
Yes I much prefer bright flowing paintings with no plans. The next project will be bright with mixed media.
I will admit I am trying to train myself to be able to do small precision things as very much like to work quickly and more flowing.
Wasn't a dark mood just wanted to try something on dark paper which I had several sheets left of from mixed paper packs.
I have a very bright mixed media collage of new York to finish. Might put that up later if on my phone.

Hillbern, that's a huge thing to do, though I'm sure they will appreciate it.
I was living 70 miles away when my granddaughter was born and used to drive up once a week, stay a night or two, and batch cook meals for them, clean their house, and catch up on their laundry then drive home again for the rest of the week. But when my grandson was born two years later, I relocated to be closer - I live alone so it didn't affect anything else, and I have been here ever since, living about 6 miles away from them now, though that does seem still like quite a distance on my 'early shift,' when I have to be there for 6.45am.
The change has been immense - rural bliss to a busy urban environment and I really do miss the countryside, but it's been worth it to see the babies grow up. And it meant I was in the right place when DD needed me more than ever, especially this last five months.
You'll find the driving gets easier every time you do it - after a few weeks I was convinced that the car knew its own way back and forth! But good luck and lots of hugs, and as you say, everyone will be here in the evenings. x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »[Strike]Air Wick Freshmatic Max Unit - White£5.98 £3.00[/Strike] I have £3 offer label in more than one M, however this seems to be an error and it is now showing £6 online so it seems it is now expired. But APG might have the £3 offer label too - and, regardless of the real price in M, could pick that up if that is the majority price they find. (Or maybe £3 in M is the price: online at £6 may not been updated yet and should be £3?)
The first option is the case. This is actually £6 in M. I've had three separate stores still showing £3 during this week. Now, if the APG happened to pick all of those, plus 3 stores that either did not stock or had correct price of £6 showing, they would get £3 if they followed what the T&Cs say. However, on the basis that it is £6 in M, I am removing the item. I do have a majority of stores that have £6, where they even stock this version. Again, different Freshmatic units in different stores - stores often with two or three - and can't pick up all of them (I now believe all five - maybe all six?) from just one store. Some of them are £3 - or at least believed to be - they will be kept on the list (because, of course, from all the stores I've used, I have managed to get a comprehensive range of those - doubt about whether Black exists in two versions now - but no worries as Black are all £6).
(There was no expiry date on the £3 SELs which it might be thought would allow me to see if the offer had expired. However, I sometimes wonder, even if offer SELs are kept on the shelf after the date has passed, whether the offer is in fact continuing and that that is the reason the label hasn't been removed as that does sometimes happen too. So, neither the presence nor the absence of a offer label is any guide about whether an offer is on or not.)0 -

I think just something so very different. I don't even pretend to understand the creative brainI don't have one. Strangely my children have all chosen to take the creative route rather than the academic route and I feel like an alien :rotfl: because I can't identify with and advise them.
It's a conversation I've been having a lot lately with all the exam options being a priority at the moment.
And yes, more pics please. I'm sure we all enjoy them very much.0 -

This is brilliant. Do you sell your work and have you considered doing others in a similar vein to this? If this was available as a print, for example, I'd definitely buy one. x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I have not finished this but rediscover it and think I will. Loosely based on a Glen Macy technique with collage paint techniques including using bubble wrap to print. Want to take heart off and replace with an apple. Want to call it 'Late Night Date City' after an episode of sex in the city.
The collage is all dating related with buildings made from lonely hearts pages ect.
Hoping to be my project next week as they are doing mono printing which I do not fancy.
Critique is good.
