From this time in M, there will be a few subtle changes to the M list. I also have lots and lots of 'new' items that were probably available on Monday but this arises from me using my regular stores today instead of the different stores I used on Monday. A whole range of items have now appeared in my regular stores - different ones in different stores - as well as the new ranges appearing (of different items not the ones in my regulars) in the stores I had on Monday (which weren't there before - I have visited them some weeks before). Apart from the extras, it'll be subtle changes here and there: I had better remove the Garnier Repair Body Milk Lotion as that is now in M at £5.32:eek:. I will be moving from the whole cucumber (that went to 41p by Monday) to the portion cucumber (which is sometimes more than half a cucumber) as those are now 20p - I suspect they won't work yet on the APG as they were not 20p on Monday.
Otherwise, on fresh veg., I think the Onions, Broccoli and Tenderheart Cabbage (Carrots won't work) must surely risk picking up M at full prices once today's information reaches the system - full prices by which I mean 56p:( for the Onions, 38p for the Broccoli and 43p for the Cabbage. From the Ms I have checked today, the Onions may be safer. Although I have full price on the SEL, there are some bags of onions on the shelf in the majority of my stores with 32p labels on them so, if a price is marked on an item which is lower than the shelf price, they should take the lower price. In a couple of stores, I have only 32p bags of onions available - although the SELs in all of them say 56p. In another store, although the SEL says 56p and there are some onions bags at 56p (indicated, I think, by the ones that have a yellow circle with no price in it on the bags), there are also some 32p bags around - hopefully a price collector would see those. However, I have one further store that, as well as 56p SEL - which is consistently found throughout my stores - has only 56p stock available. If they find four to six stores with that situation, they get full price!
It just depends which stores they check. From my sample today, it looks like the onions might be safer - assuming they even compare at all versus M and you know I don't trust the price collectors on fresh veg. - however they could find 56p stores. The Broccoli looks like it will extremely likely be 38p M on the APG - if it is not already 38p - as, again, all the SELs with prices are consistent at 38p - and I don't have any stock with 32p price on it now. The Sweetheart Cabbage, I have a small amount of stock with 32p in one store, but majority seem to have no price on the stock and all are consistent SELs at 43p. I reckon 43p - it must surely risk getting that price.
As regards the 'buy in M' (maybe?) items, the White Potatoes 1.5kg, which were definitely available at 32p on Monday, appear to be OOS now - I have not found any stock, or indeed any trace, of them today in any of the Ms I've seen - however you know this means nothing. There are some loose swedes at 32p (different BC again to the non-priced ones that will be 50p as per the SEL) - I thought swede was currently Aldi at 29p though? - and, whilst I said some of the swedes look smaller they what they were and are supposed to be "minimum 500g", I found one of the 32p ones weighed in at over 600g. I also found what seemed to be much larger sadly 50p:( ones - I took one and it weighed over one kilogram! So the minimum weight is clearly no guide - you may find whoopsies cheaper.
The updates will be done later - it's more of a fine detail of any change today. And for those of you that see I missed the Sugam Paneer Full Fat Cheese on Monday (at £4.27/kg) because I did not check my regular stores and now suggest that I ought to have checked my regular stores and not bothered with the other ones - yes, but then I would have missed the Lockerbie Coloured Cheddar completely as I don't have that in any of my regular stores:rotfl:. (It will continue to be on offer according to the offer end date I saw in the 'far-away' store on Monday.) Many of you I suspect won't have any clue what I'm going on about now as you won't have Sugam Paneer Full Fat Cheese in your M:rotfl:. (Sugam Full Fat Cheese - what's that? Help me, Savvy, I can't see it at all in my M!) So, you've no idea where I am getting an item from or why I seem to be suggesting buying it in M as it seems not available at all in M (in other words, your M). But, trust me, it's there - in one of mine.
There may be some 'good' prices on some jigsaw puzzles/board game stuff and the like in M at the moment ("good" being defined in relation to how expensive these sorts of items normally can be) - probably to be found alongside the baby aisle - I could have spent all day trying to catalogue all of the items at around £1 or £2 along there - there are different items in every store - that's what I mean by new range of items - even after my stores today (and the items I've picked up on Monday), I would still not know the full of what was at those prices in M - just best going along to your M, whenever you are next already there, and seeing what you can find and what prices you think to be good. I will add the random items that I have found from some of my stores, but it will be nowhere near complete - you may not find any of them in your store in any event and may find completely different other items there instead.0 -

Oh well the weekend has gone and we are nearly to the next weekend- my decision and crossroads in life is now a reality
My dear DIL is going back to work on Friday after her maternity leave- how the time flies do you remember last year when I was looking for a wheel for my 40 year old silver cross pram? since finding one the pram has been used at an 85th birthday, a wedding and GS christening as well as usual shopping trips-:)
..well I/we were asked if we could help out with baby sitting as child care is so expensive in London, we thought long and hard and said yes, which was really a very difficult decision.
I know it shouldn't have been but...they live over 100 miles away:eek:
Therefore I handed my notice in at work and I will be travelling to and from London every week staying from sunday and returning home on Wednesday.
I love my family but I also love my job:) I had in my own mind of leaving or possibly leaving in October when I will have been in the same job for 30 years. - community nursing auxiliary- as well as in the past a marie curie nurse, as well as doing B&B when my children were young as well as when the local coffee shop opened my friend who owns that and the garden center and the shop I worked there 1 day a week making cakes, scones pastries etc. so I have always been busy working. but community nursing has been my life and I shed a tear everytime I say goodbye to a patient let alone talk about leaving. I leave with no nhs pension as when I started work I needed the money and couldn't afford to pay anything outand no state pension until im 66 so several years to go yet.:( Gosh things we do for our children!!!
..So that is my crossroad...I will be harder up but I will have the privilege of spending time with number 2 grandson:)
 and im terrified .....
I don't like motorway driving at the best of times let alone driving by myself to London tomorrow:eek:
Then Friday 1st babysitting stint- he is 10 months old and a mummys boy and he screams if she is not around so a set of ear plugs must go on my shopping list:D
DH coming down Friday and then going back Sunday where as I stay on and drive back Wednesday for my last 2 shifts at work next Thursday and Friday then back to London again on sunday.!!
So the evenings with all you elite are hopefully going to be my salvation:A:A0 -

Wow! It's very striking. Probably the dark background. It is beautifully done.
I'll just be honestand ask.....Do you paint according to your mood? This seems a lot darker than your usual creations. That's not a criticism at all, your talent is stunning and undeniable. I'd just rather stick with my lovely poppies
