Shame i cant get my sister to realise that the reason its so high is that its too risky to take her at all!! She wont be persuaded otherwise I think. The other thing is she organises all these trips and then asks us all to contribute. I never do as number 1 I cant afford it and no 2 I dont see why I should. Thanks
Rose my sister was similar. She wants her way with everything. When my mother who had altzimers and getting worse dh offered to have mum live here. Paying for an extension wasn't a problem. We had plans drawn, showing bedroom, wet room and what is our utility room would be part of a small sitting room and door into the garden.
Sister said she didn't think it would work, mum didn't need it, mum was ok on her own at home. Matter of months later, phone calls from police at 1am mum found down the road, a young couple picked her up and took her to a local petrol station and called police. This happened several times.
Eventually sister agreed mum needed to go into a home, she went somewhere into a 2 bed flat with careers on site. My sister used to come up from London and stay there.
All the time sister thinking where will she stay, not what mum wanted or needed.
If I were you I'd refuse to get any quotes, refuse to pay towards insurance. Maybe that will stop her from taking her away. Personally from what you've said, mum isn't in the best of health anyway and I wouldn't like to risk taking her away .
Sorry to have babbled onThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Used 2 cafe Nero codes today and picked up a Daily Mail code while there....I think it's called code stacking:rotfl:
Had to inform a member of staff of an abandoned backpack......it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end:o

Are the Aldi White Potatoes (2.5Kg) at 25p now such common knowledge that I can remove the M Washed Potatoes 1.3Kg:( (which are currently just crossed out) from my list entirely? I am not going to have no reference to Washed Potatoes and then Aldi White Potatoes suddenly appearing in the middle of a list of products to 'buy in M'!
They're gone! They are out of the list - and the Aldi ones are to buy in Aldi!0 -

Is it possible to put high calorie posts on ignore?? (I am currently detoxing with a glass of red) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No luck there I'm afraid - as you haven't even had me going through all of my biscuits packs/cookies from M just yet! Probably have you buying, albeit 1p more expensive, larger packs in M that will end up with you simply consuming even more:rotfl:.0
