I love the idea of renting the cottages, are they all on one site? and the youth hostel is a fabulous idea - many of the buildings are so beautiful and set in fantastic grounds

Yes it was all one site more than 6 actually as there was a few one bedroom places and little wooden camping places . set over fields with a beach. And a converted posh barn where they had ceremony then reception with adjoining marquee. where the food was set up. It was nice as next day a lit if damily and friends where staying so all just hung out in gardens and kids played out. And we ate left overs so wedding celebration turned into full weekend. :T

Right Of to work now. Had a late start today to do some paperwork .

here is something amusing. I won a twitter draw last week and the prize arrived today, just in an ordinary envelope and not a jiffy so it was badly mangled but the packaging was very sturdy so the contents were fine.

Its something we could have all done with earlier this year as we have all suffered with winter ailments.

its a pack of manuka honey and propolis lozenges, 50 of them all individually wrapped and fortunately they are in date until July 2017 because I will be issuing these out only on very strict medical grounds

each lozenges works out at nearly 52p each

A question please. Does anyone know of any places that hire wedding dresses?

Eldest child has been looking and only found a place in Cardiff which is at least 3 hours away from either of us and she says its the only place in the uk - ???

    £600

Have a look at WED2BE website. They have shops all over the country and dresses are all under £500

Glad your both thinking along the same lines.it would be a terrible thing to full out over. But weddings are so stressful. You saw dd2 dress it was lovely but cost under £200. luckily neither of the girls want to waste money, dd2 is saving for mortgage and dd1 has not sold her second house so is paying the mortgage on that. First house is mortgage free though. Dd1 reckons her wedding will come in at well under £4000 and that includes paying for the youth hostel all weekend for people to stay. Dd2 was just under £5000 and that was renting 6 cottages as well for 4 days .

Your girls are very :money: lovely to hear. Both venues sound brilliant and to get them in their budget, wow, makes all the difference. Just goes to show you can have a wonderful wedding without breaking the bank :)

Hi M4rtin, how's things going for you? Not seen you for a while, hope you're ok :)

Hi I'm OK thanks been busy with RL :)

What's been happening on here ?

Pretty much the same as always, last week was a great glitchy week but we have a fantastic team working behind the scenes finding glitches most days now. Look out for them M4rtin, they've found some superb bargains, it's Squigs, Wacknut and a few more.

Things that annoy us ... we could start a list :D. I'll go first.

Companies that advertise next day delivery if you order by 6pm, I placed an order at 3pm yesterday, order has not even been processed yet!

If I had known I wouldn't have bothered ordering from them and made alternative arrangements.

    And breathe ... :)
