I wish I could talk sense into my daughter ...

Could you not convince her to look in charity shops? You get some great designer ones in those.

In my head I am still 25 so I am now the 2nd youngest in my family :rotfl:

In my head I am still 16, problem is mine are very nearly 29 and 26, and I have two grandkids aged 5 and 2. The great thing is my grandson still believes me when I tell him I am 16 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, must get on, finally got chance to find OH an Easter egg so have to shoot off down T (can't easily get them back from A).

so I decided to grow a back bone and message eldest child and just tell her that I still thought £600 for a dress for one day was ridiculous

but to my shock I got a reply straight away to say she agreed.

I said there has to be a solution to this problem, we just have to keep worrying away at the problem.

we have not had a fight or fallen out about anything for so long now and I know the dress is a pivotal point I didn't want to upset her but at least I know we are thinking along the same lines

one of the charity shops locally had an upstairs floor which was solely bridal wear and occasion wear. I am wondering if it still it, might be worth going to have a look anyway

Your poor daughter so hard for them when so young, and they beleive its the end of the world. Only time will heal and some hugs from her lovely mum xxx

Ds3 has a college and interview at bangor today . bit further than he wants the travel each day but only way he can do his choices so really hope he gets a place

Hope everyone else has a good day xx

hope the interview goes well. If he does decide on Bangor and they do decide on him will he travel in each day or will he find student accommodation?

Funny isn't it how numbers play such an important part in our life :). I've always felt young in my head since reaching 38  probably with having last 2 children later on and as I act as I used to act as taxi for them, still do now and then, to gigs, band practise etc I'm great friends with most of their mates.

Mainly I feel it's my style of living and dressing. I live in long skirts, old hippy  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

All the Easter eggs have now gone off A app for my store - so borrowed time until they disappear off the apg (not that it will matter as stocks running low now as they clear the aisle for the next cleaning/baby/gardening event).

My store not running low in stick absolutely loads of them all the whole of the back wall and 2 other rows as you walk in, packed full yesterday.
