Sorry it's all over the place I hope you can make sense of it all. The SA only scanned 15 bottles of the sauv blanc instead of 16 and I lost a bit on the tia Maria but I had a £7 off voucher to use.

Can I ask, does the 25% off wine work in Express stores? Thanks :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

This was actually my first shop and I used £5 moc but then all the cab sav had gone so had to buy sauv blanc in my SE ond shop. I don't really understand why the first shop I got £20 BG and second shop I only got £9.90 but that's probably because I'm thick.

Hello you lovely lot, not been glitchy shopping much recently as not been able to keep up with the thread. Hope all is well in the Land of Elite.

DS2 constantly poorly and undergoing more tests to see if there is a reason for this plus his muscle weakness, he has also been referred on due to something not descending that should have  but I got a phone call from the paediatrician saying that his notes have gone missing :( Will get the little muchkin sorted one day. DD2 still having CBT for social anxiety but not much improvement yet.

We were lucky enough to get a grant for a holiday from the family fund and I am determined to make the most of it. I want to book a week in a Gite in France, preferably one with a private pool as holidaying with a child with asd plus one with social anxiety can prove challenging. The plan is to get a ferry across to France and drive for up to 3 hours South for better weather. Trouble is I can't decide which ports to use ie Dover or Portsmouth to Le Havre or the other French ports as prices vary massively. Also, I have looked on Owners Direct but does anyone else know of any other reliable and cheap sites?

I have had the grant for 4 weeks now and am no closer to booking anything, I am normally quite good sourcing cheap deals but have made some mistakes matching the kids needs to the right holiday and I really want to get it right this time.

Sorry to come back with a novel :o

Because you didn't get the right number of bottles to match A's 6 for £25 three times.

The SA missed a bottle meaning you only had 17 bottles, not 18.

Regardless the Prosecco didn't compare to A's 6 for £25 so you would have missed out anyway.

Because you missed the third 6 for £25, four of your diablos compared at £5.40 to £6 in A which lost you BM instead of taking it up to £20.

And of course the £2.50 lost on the Tia Maria ;)

Thank you that explains it! They didn't have anymore on the shelf and there wasn't anyone in sight to look in the back so that's why I bought the prosecco to make it up to 18 but hey ho, it won't got to waste :rotfl:
I can guarantee the mystery wines will come into stock now I've stocked up they always do.
    Thanks for the explanation.
