    So first you say "If you wanted to get your Mother flowers you should of gone to a florist yourself and taken them to her yourself, distance should not be an issue, its Mothers day not your day."

    Then you admit that you didn't visit your own mother.

    But it's OK for you to have a go at the OP because your post shouldn't be taken literally? What is it then, a metaphor for the human condition?

    And to top it off, you accuse me of being the OP. That's a novel twist on asking if someone works for the company!

    The reason i didn't visit my mum, well my parents live in France and are on holiday some where in Spain touring. I still made the effort.

    Because they entered into a contract to deliver flowers on a specific day.

    And breach of that contract means you may be entitled to a refund and/or compensation... not having them have someone (employed for an alternative role) make a special journey (which they may not be covered by insurance for) to hand deliver the flowers (which would likely differ from those you ordered) to your address.

    That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.
