Hi, I got a ticked from CP Plus on 02.01.17 for not parking in a designated parking spot as it was busy! Spent £500 that day and came back to car to find a ticket a f******* hate that place at the best of times but needs must and all that.

I appealed it but they have refused it I parked at the end of a bay with white chevrons I have looked up the old rules and it was do not park on hatched areas which are coloured, do you think I can appeal further? Cheers

all covered in the NEWBIES sticky thread, everybody has gorounds for appeal if they get a popla code ?

if you spent so much money then why have you not complained strongly to the M.A. and insisted on a cancellation ?

yes , why not , they hired the par@sites and its damaging their business to annoy potential customers , but do not admit who was driving the vehicle , to anyone

you were a passenger in the vehicle in question (plead the 5th)

think of it this way , if the doorman had stopped you coming out of the 22 store and accused you of stealing , wouldnt you want to complain to the people that employed him (the shop who contracted out the security to say group4 ?)

beats me why people never complain to the landholer , retailer or MA, they only see what is in front of them

you buy a ford from a ford dealer, it has a problem , you contact the dealer AND FORD as well

read post #15 in this thread and tell me if you agree ?

like I said , you complain to MA as well as any appeal

if they make mistakes (which they often do), they should cancel it ,(which they have)

crisis averted with very little legwork

    well done

Well yes that was easy onto the next one my missus got one in Rotherham 'parked in a special enforcement area next to a dropped pavement' !

Well things come in 3's they say so we are 2/3's the way there because we have both had tickets in the last month and not had any in 10 years !

Whether this can be appealed successfully am not sure done a bit of reading up and its worth a try !

Council ticket? If so, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there (but please note that a hotmail address won't work) and post a new thread; here's your link:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=30

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
