you're not alone Aimee, thats how they get their money, by people worrying. calm down and take your time. you have plenty of that. put everything you are posting to other people on here for approval first, before sending it.

As for the 'f-word' ... that is what is stated on my letter

As per Redx ... no it doesn't! If this really is from Parking Eye then they do not use the F word in any of their correspondence.

OK. No worries - and the charge is not 'at least' £100 if you lose at POPLA. It is £100, cannot be more. All you are risking is forty quid and it sounds like an odd car park so quite possibly the 'unclear signage' or 'landowner authority' issue will win this for you at POPLA.

Show us your draft POPLA appeal and we'll help try to save you the forty quid, think of it like that. Can you show us the PCN (cover your name & address and the PCN number & car reg). I'm just interested to see the middle wording really, the bit under the photos which comprises three or four paragraphs. If you show a photo of that wording you'd have to put it in Dopbox or photobucket and then post us a broken URL (change the http to hxxp).

Can you get a photo of the sign if you are local enough?

I am trying to understand a car park where PE use a man in a hut and how do they explain that on the signs! Never seen one like it.
I was spending £15+ a day to use this carpark every day for 3.5 weeks.
    Ouch. That's not cheap.

Please don't tell us you just paid the scam PCN? The other thread poster (linked above by Redx) easily got his cancelled.

Where is your POPLA appeal draft, we want to help? You may still be in time this weekend as POPLA codes work for a few days over 28 days. AND you can still appeal to POPLA even if you have paid (but the down side is, if you then lose at POPLA you are 'told' to pay the balance up to the non-discounted sum).

Don't tell us you folded, if you did and don't want to appeal to POPLA either, do not post! We don't want to know. We are here to help people appeal these and having taken advice in plenty of time, we were expecting to assist you perfect your POPLA appeal.
