Just as the title says. I would welcome any views on whether you would buy a new build on a small estate next door to or near someone with a pigeon loft in their back garden?
thanks in advance

Not a chance. Flying vermin.Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...
Pet Peeves.... queues, vain people and hypocrites ..not necessarily in that order.0 -
mmmm.... Pie!0

Planning on selling any time soon?0
-
Depends how bothered would you be by the noise and possible smells?0
-
No. Poo on the washing, poo on the car, poo on the windows, poo on you as you're sat in the garden, poo on the path and the kids/pets /you step in it, and the smell of poo. Get the idea?0

Not in a millions years. Flying rats.0

Only if there was a chance of a national famine in the next year or two.
I've decided.., MSE is full of not very nice people lol.0 -
and they attract the ground vermin too0
-
Wouldn't bother me.
If this is a proper pigeon fanciers loft it will not smell and will be spotless. The birds are also not flying vermin and some of the winning racers can be worth £1000s.
I am from the North and a lot of people I know used to keep birds, or still do and I have never seen an issue with it.0 -
Personally it would out me off as I hate them. So if other people think that, then you restrict your potential buyers when you sell.
But...if you could cope, then other people wouldn't be bothered.
And...they may move house and take the pigeons with them.0
