Hi Everybody.
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster. I just decided to break the lurking trend ( God, that sounds creepy) as I would like to thank all the wonderful people here that have posted invaluable advice on how to succeed in applying to AQA.
In case you haven't already guessed I got in, and on my first try.
Although I am chuffed I have no doubt that if I had not had the inside tip on what I should and shouldn't do..... well lets just say I wouldn't be feeling as pleased as I am right now. So thank you all:T.
Like most of you I have a massive debt (£25000) that I will be getting rid of in due course ( I love the way I said that so " matter of fact" and as close to being destitute as I have ever been in my life ( all together now ...Awwwwww:rotfl:) having been unemployed for 4 months and having NOTHING!!! ( bar jobseekers allowance, but that somehow seems to vanish before I can lay my hands on it)
But Now there is light at the end of the tunnel. If I can pass my induction I intend to spend as much time as possible on AQA until I get a full time job and then it will just be evenings and weekends.
I haven't sorted out a budget just yet as I have nothing coming in to budget with
But once I have a full time job I aims to cut that £25000 in half by the end of this year..... that is my vow;)
Thanks for listening (or reading ) ... oh and to top everything else off I got an interview for a full time job tomorrowI know its only an interview but even if I don't get the job the fact that some one is interested in enough in my CV to want to "grill" me gives a body hope.
There, thats my lot ... phew.0 -
Just send it you'll be fine0

I like your post, Broked Arsed Billionaire. Congrats on getting in. I work full time, then run home and spend most of my evenings and nights on AQA - more because I am hooked on it now, than for the money. Having said that, I can't complain about the money. As someone said in a previous post, once the money starts coming in, you tend to work harder. Nicer when you see the debts decreasing.
[What does 200 P for P G in M mean?] - well done, unknownstuntsman. I could stare at that for hours and never figure it out. I really hope you get in.0
