  • I just got a reply from Rowina to say that they didn't recieve my contract that I sent on Tuesday. GRRRR . Lost emails make me so mad.

I sent it again, so hopefully I'll get the pack asap.

  • well,

I got my starter pack - had my initiation yesterday and have just finished the first 30 questions. Just waiting for my SR to get back to me with a review, fingers crossed I've done OK and she'll let me loose!

It's not easy, that's for sure! It's taken me HOURS to answer the 30 questions, but my average time per question has halved in that time, so I think it's just a lot of practice.

There's some very odd questions...and some very odd people! Entertaining though. I might add my AQA earnings to my sig if people would be interested, to give everyone an idea of how it long it takes to make decent money.

OH is away all this weekend, so there's some good moneymaking potential available! Also, it's ebay 10p listing day today. :j

    Best wishes to everyone applying

Good luck DJ, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Did they send you the 'The End of the Question Mark' book (available from Amazon :D), I've been reading it on the train in the morning, it's a collection of questions from the past year, my personal favs were:

Q: How long does it take to cremate a dead giraffe?
A: The actual cremation process would take about twenty minutes. As for the ceremony this would depend on how many songs the giraffe had chosen.

    Q: Am I gay?
Q: Yes, you are gay. Only 7% of men and 13% of women have had homosexual experiences, but this rises to over 90% for those that ask 'Am I gay?'

    Brilliant! :rotfl:

Best question & answer I've seen while AQAing was:

Q: What was the best thing before sliced bread?
A: The best thing before sliced bread was unsliced bread. It possesses many of the properties of sliced bread yet lacks its ultimate convienience.

    Made me laugh anyway :D

    :rotfl:

    Or how about:

Q: Why did Lady Penelope never get laid by any of the Thunderbirds?
A: Lady Penelope clearly thought there would be too many strings attached. Sleeping with the Thunderbirds can only lead to a complicated, tangled mess.

It takes anything from a couple of days to a week or so depending on how busy they are, and I believe they are very busy at the moment. Good luck, let us know how you get on :D

Hm, thats annoying. Just got a declined email due to the researchers test.

Would be nice if they gave more feedback.

The strange thing is, I've seen other posts that say there is a specific way to write dates etc, but there was no mention of that in my test rules??

Just the usual "use full sentences, correct spelling, grammar etc"....

I suppose it could have been partly due to having one question saying "What will happen at my friend's party? What should I wear?
and I just put "wear casual clothes" for the second half, as I'd already got close to character limit from the first question...
  • Sorry please excuse my stupidity - what is AQA?
