I started off paying £650 pcm so 10 years later I imagine that £750 pcm is not too bad (though currently paying £725 pcm)?
The price/value of the property really isn't relevant.
You need to educate yourself on your rights as a tenant. That's all that matters.0 -

Negotiating isn't the same as being stubborn.
You need to point out that the rent has been paid regularly for 10 years and that you've been a reliable, trouble free tenant (assuming that this is true) throughout that period. Many LLs value this sort of thing more than a few extra pounds and the risk of damage and voids.0 -

Your property has lost value? How come?
If its only gone up from £650 to £725 in 10 years and its in Berkshire then I think your title of greedy landlord is somewhat flawed.
If it was worth £650 a month in 2006 its probably worth £950 a month by now.0 -

That would be fair.
If he decides to evict you to get more rent then you will jump up the housing list and instead of waiting 20 years for a property as you initially stated you might only have to wait 5 years maybe less. In the meantime you will however be homeless living in emergency accommodation which you will need to pay for which is quite stressful.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
