Boots that cut ankles.

Perhaps they won't if they simply don't fit your feet.
I lacerated my ankles with a pair of Ferragamo sandals - the straps are just in the wrong place and cut the ankle bone. A substantially more expensive mistake than yours, but human feet aren't uniform, so shoes won't fit everyone comfortably. What did you do in that situation?
me, I have given up and thought why did I buy a pair of boots/shoes that didn't fit, and thrown them in bottom of wardrobe or taken to charity shop.0 -
Herein lies the problem, it's not my first set of boots, as some have posted you can expect a bit of rubbing and sometimes a bit of pain from a new pair. I accept this, which is why I persisted, however I've never had to wait 8 day's of 3-5000 steps (yes, I have a FitBit!) for them to wear in.
In my opinion, a pair of boots should be well worn in after walking around 20KM in them and shouldn't continue to leave you with deep cuts.
This is why I posted, I think this falls into unsatisfactory quality or not fit for purpose and wanted other peoples opinion's based on the facts of the issue at hand.
In your OP, you said you wore them to work and barely walked - how the hell did you walk 20km if they were so painful and gave you "deep cuts"? And why not answer the question on why you didn't take them off if they hurt?
Your opinion is not the law. Simple as that. They are not of unsatisfactory quality and are fit for purpose; you merely bought something that does not suit your personal requirements, and for that the shop is not at fault - YOU ARE.0 -

3-5000 steps = ~2.5+KM = minimal walking in one day.
2.5x8 = 20KM
Is that clear enough?if they were so painful and gave you "deep cuts"? And why not answer the question on why you didn't take them off if they hurt?

OP did you get a satisfactory resolution to your other complaint0

Do you mean the other thread from a couple of years ago? If so, yes. I got an independent engineer to review the work and they found the garage to be at fault. Had to fight them in court, but I got my money back.
Thats good news
I think you had a valid complaint on that one, but not this time, unless of course they do come back with an inherent fault, but I think that is unlikely0 -
And you thought it was OK for a pair of sandals to do that to your feet?
No, I was really peeved as they cost about £350 - but my annoyance was aimed solely at myself. There is nothing wrong with the sandals - the fault is with my feet. This was further demonstrated by the fact that they fit fine around my sister's ankles, but unfortunately for her she has wider feet than me and they are toe-numbingly tight on her.0 -

No, no, no, there's two people's feet they don't fit, so definitely faulty:rotfl::rotfl:If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

I'm not sure you're grasping the concept - it wasn't a literal how, it was more a why did you wear shoes for 8 days that hurt? They would have hurt from day one, not day 8 - the fault is yours.
And I have re-read the post. Still doesn't answer why you wore painful shoes for 8 days which could have scarred you (that's your own fault btw) before you decided they were "faulty" (they aren't).0
