I'm not sure being complimented about my experience with threadworms is something to be flattered by..
You shouldnt take them if pregnant either, any of them, they can cause kidney deformities in the unborn.. Booked in to have a cut and colour on Friday; I need a change as feel I look a bit like a sheep at the moment and it's not making me feel good.
Good idea! I'm having a mow on Saturday afternoon. I've been growing out a short bob with a fringe for a while, but I look like a shaggy sheepdog now, so the two of us make a great pair. Toying with hacking the fringe back in as I can now see the wrinkles on my forehead :eek:Had a good hour and a half whiz round while miss frizzle slept. She is getting better at sleeping in her Moses basket now!!
Aww - I really miss the tiny baby stage. My Tiny is a right bruiser now! Enjoy x
Welcome HeyJude
I used to get threadworms as a child and had to drink the most disgusting orange jollup. Too many dog-snogs with my mutley, me thinks. Piggers - I'm sure I give Vermox tablets to my chickens...?!
Hope your bruises fade soon LW x I've got a nasty one from Girl Pup trying to escape the clutches of the vet last week. She rarely jumps up, but was looking for somewhere to hide and raked my leg with her claws. Ouch
Having a reasonable day if you ignore scrubbing blood splatters from BoyPup's split tail off the walls, ceiling, cupboards, mirror, TV screen etc.
It is officially wine o'clock - cheers!0 -

yl try not to freak out, dd2 had them when she was still at nursery, she had passed them on to us all before we realised! I did freak out at the time, until I realised how common they were in children. I used ovex (I think it was called that) . You need to all take the meds I reckon, just in case, as they are so easily transferable. Also we took another dose after two weeks, as it doesn't always kill the eggs, and this will mop us any newly hatched ones before they can lay more eggs. We took another dose after four weeks to be on the extra safe side! They didn't come back.
Oh and very short fingernails is important. Yuck yuck.0 -

YORKSHIRELASS wrote: »Help!! DH has threadworms!! He has been poorly for a while and got some tablets from the docs, now we have discovered why he has been having stomach problems. This means an intensive deep clean of our bedroom and DSs too as I wouldn't be surprised if he has them as he was complaining of tummy problems a while back.
This is so grim. I need hugs, lots of them.
Oh dear - sending you big hugs xxFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
