Guess who's coming back, it's me.
Welcome home; it's good to have you back - you've been missed. Onwards and upwards, m'dear, ever onwards and upwards.;)
LW hope you don't get any sore bits from your fall x
Thanks - and thanks to everyone who's expressed concern. I'm fine - I have a rather spectacular bruise on my left thigh, and still a tad stiff, but nothing is broken - more a case of damaged dignity!:D

Jack's been collected to go home, so I'm now dogless til March 10th unless there's a last-minute booking, so I'll try and do what flying I can manage. I must throw the Dys0n around today, whatever else doesn't get done - there's black Spaniel-hair all over the place!

The other thing I need to do today without fail is slice the nut loaf I made last night ready for the freezer. This means a spot of Freezer Tetris; but if I get out the last 2 slices of the old one for us to have for tonight's dins, that will help.;)

Tomorrow sees delivery of our new WM, so Mr LW has to disconnect the old one tonight, ready for the blokes to cart it away with them. It's done eleven years hard labour, and is getting very cranky now, (it developed yet another weird noise yesterday) so we're replacing it before it breaks entirely, as there is no way I can do all our washing by hand nowadays.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hello,

On my lunch at the paid stuff. Did all my daily stuff this morning before I left. I amazed myself. So when I get home I just need to see what I can do from the list.

Posting it to spur me on later.

Done almost everything on the list today including the sofa but now got to pick up all the bits I found and rehome them to their proper places! Also posted off some yarn and paid in a cheque .... nice to put money in the account for a change. Booked in to have a cut and colour on Friday; I need a change as feel I look a bit like a sheep at the moment and it's not making me feel good.

After I've rehomed stuff going to get out the ironing board and get the ironing done; I don't think it will take long as only about 12 shirts so might as well get on with it. Think then I'll take the dogs out for a walk. Feeling pleasantly surprised as normally I'd be at this stage at about 2.15 or so, not 1.15. This getting on with it and not larking around really seems to be working for me .... hope it lasts.

  • Can I join your group please? Need an incentive to keep me on track daily as I end up madly tidying on days off and not enjoying them!

I'm working during the day but will be heading home and trying to do a little bit every evening! Trying to rope in the fianc! too as it always ends up being me doing it all!

    Will report later!

    Thanks! Jude x

  • Help!! DH has threadworms!! He has been poorly for a while and got some tablets from the docs, now we have discovered why he has been having stomach problems. This means an intensive deep clean of our bedroom and DSs too as I wouldn't be surprised if he has them as he was complaining of tummy problems a while back.

This is so grim. I need hugs, lots of them.

vermox tablets .. chewable things.. over the counter.. free on minor ailments .. had them loads of times.. meds, not worms!! you can get it in orange flavour medicine which is not too nasty too.

very important.. DO NOT GET PRIPSEN POWDERS! they taste absolutely disgusting and give you horrific stomach cramps and a runny bum.. and you pass live wrigglers! vermox just dissolve them.. much kinder to tummy.

lots of handwashing and clean nails and dont dry your face with your bum towel!

YL OMG that sounds grim! (((HUGS))) I've *touch wood* never experienced that myself, and never want to! Ok, look at it this way - now you know why your DH has been poorly, and you can take steps to get him better. *sends wrigglers-begone vibes*

Two cylinders of Spaniel hair and other detritus Dys0ned up; sink and drainer scrubbed within an inch of their lives; general scout-round for stuff to put in the recycling sack done (bin day tomorrow).
