Hi there he's flying to San Diego - thanks for your help re the meal. Was just wondering if he would have to buy his own
With BA, even on European flights of about 3 hours I've always been fed (and I don't mean just a sandwich and a beer)!
My longest flight with BA was Heathrow - Vancouver and we were fed twice.0 -
Hi all just trying to check in and although I can check in to the flight to LHR from Leeds I am getting a message that I am unable to check in for the heathrow to San Diego flight:-
"Sorry, we are unable to offer you Online Check-in for this flight on this occasion.
To check in and receive your boarding pass, please contact the operating carrier at the airport".
Could this be because it isn't 24 hours before this part of the flight (although that doesn't tally with one of the comments above) or could it be there are no seats left as it's been overbooked?0 -
Also the flight number has changed from Finnair
Flight 5453
(operated by British Airways)
Eqpt type: Boeing 777
on his flight itinerary to
Heathrow (London) - Lindbergh Field (CA) (S. California)
BA0273, 13:40 Mon 29 February 2016
on the BA manage your booking area
the time of both flights is the same but don't know which flight number to tell him to look out for0 -
Could be a number of things - overbooking, aircraft change or simply IT glitch. My guess would be due the mixing who you've booked with and who you are flying with not linked at the IT end.
I'd suggest trying again in an hour, trying the website of the carrier you've booked with, or calling them.
If you are worried just have them turn up early at the airport.Legal team on standby0 -
When he gets to Heathrow both those flight numbers will show for his flight (along with other code share numbers)Legal team on standby0

thank you. He booked it via StudentUniverse and i wonder if the fact that he's got an internal flight with AA on the way back from San Diego to Philadelphia is messing it up a bit. At least he can check in at the airports if needs be as you say.0

BA B777 aircraft are usually 3-3-3 in economy, btw picking an aisle seat such as D means you can have a nap and the person in the middle seat E can get out by disturbing passenger in seat F and not you in seat D.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
