All right you lot, who showed Hubert how to do selfies? We'll be seeing his hairy mush all over the place now.

What are you brewing there, Igor? Oh, some wine for St Patrick's Day......hmmm, I should go easy on the cabbage if I were you.....and is this Chef's latest batch of home brewed beer? What does it say on the label..."Old Trumping Leprechaun"......?

Think I will stick with the old Irish stout......

    NSD #3
I did "buy" myself a coffee from starbuks but I pre-paid since I put money on my starbuks card last month in case i got the urge so I don't count that as a spend because that money is gone anyway...if this isn't allowed though, please count it as a spend.
And if your awkward week was due to life stuff rather than money, then hang in there - I have found that things usually resolve themselves in the long run.
    Thank you,
    Nargle!

I just had a lot of things to buy life things for mothers day and things like lunches
I did spend £5 on a train ticket that i didn't use but couldn't get refund...
(my now ex lives in another city but at that time we weren't split so paid for it to see him but broke up before i was due to travel)
I just stress about money...I am guilty for using my money stupidly and even more so for using it on HIM.
I only have about £100 for myself I do have money but trying to save....it's so hard.

positivelypunked - someone on the forums has a signature on the lines of "If you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably money well spent." No sense in beating yourself up over spending money to visit someone who is now obsolete in your life.

I could slap myself twenty times over for foolish spending decisions. As I have said many times on these forums, you think you're stupid with money? Well, I have a degree in stupidity from the University of Stupidity in Stupidtown. But all that's past, finished, history. Like your ex. Move on - every thing we experience usually teaches us a valuable lesson.

When you get paid, work out your budget for the month and include an amount to go into savings. What's left after that has to last you the month, which is where the NSD challenge can help, as it focuses your mind on where your money is going.

    Don't you mean 'pouting fabulousness'?

Hubert is now sulking and refuses to take his medication.

On your head be it Nargle.

PS we still have vats of Ye Olde Fartinge Bishope....

Yesterday was number 5/20 for me. Kept thinking of things I 'needed' to get online but didn't bother in the end. They might still be 'needed' by the end of the week though when I have a spend day!

    Wise woman indeed. ;)
Well...in that case....I declare an emergency and I had 4 in a row! Had spends Saturday, Sunday and today so far but hoping for nothing for the next three days....

You've got a prize on the front page! :j

    Not a pretty sight.

PS there is a jar of instant hidden in Igor's unmentionables drawer, right next to the mangle in the basement.Watch out though;we have a mysterious vole infestation down there.Strange creatures...they keep singing 'Viva Las Vegas!' whilst flexing their muscles and showing off their tats!!!!!!!

    What can it mean?
